“Does not appear in military doctrine”: Iran denies the presence of nuclear weapons and plans to create them
9
Iran is not developing its own nuclear weapons and does not have it at his disposal. This statement was made by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic, Nasser Kanaani.
According to the Iranian diplomat, Tehran is committed to using nuclear energy exclusively for peaceful purposes. In military terms, Iran supposedly has no intention of creating nuclear weapons.
Nuclear weapons do not figure in Iranian military doctrine
- emphasized the representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry.
It is noteworthy that Israel has been making similar statements for a long time. Although, according to repeated and long-standing reports from a number of media outlets and analysts, Israel may have a limited number of nuclear weapons, the country's authorities categorically deny this. They also claim that Israel does not have nuclear weapons and has no plans to create them.
At the same time, the Israeli authorities have always accused and continue to accuse Iran of developing nuclear weapons. These charges serve as justification for the subversive activities of the Israeli intelligence services in Iran, including the commission of such criminal offenses as the murder of Iranian nuclear scientists, high-ranking government and military officials, and so on.
