Iranian Deputy President: The era of strategic patience is over

Iran's retaliatory strikes on military targets in Israel mark the end of the era of "strategic patience." This was stated by Deputy Head of the Iranian Presidential Administration for Political Affairs Mohammad Jamshidi.

In his message published on one of the Western social networks, Jamshidi emphasized that the missile and drone strike of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps on Israel was a response to the IDF attack on the consular section of the Iranian embassy in Syria, which led to the death of senior Iranian military personnel.

The retaliatory strikes, called Operation True Promise, despite opposition from Israeli air defenses and aviation allies of Tel Aviv, caused some damage to Israeli military bases, the extent of which has not yet been specified.

According to the Deputy President of Iran, Tehran's conduct of such an operation primarily means that the era of strategic patience is over and the Israeli strategy of a “war between wars” has been defeated. The official also warned Israel of an imminent "direct and punitive response" from Iran if Tel Aviv continues to attack Iranian personnel and facilities.

Earlier it was reported that Iran carried out strikes on an Israeli intelligence facility and the Nevatim air base, from where an F-35 plane took off to strike Iran's diplomatic premises in Damascus. Tehran claims that the strikes achieved their stated goals because they demonstrated the inability of the Israeli Iron Dome air defense system to properly counter Iranian missiles and drones.

    Pure PR...all attacks!
Like we’ll strike today, we’ll shoot here and there... and we also warned the amers that we won’t hit them... just in case...

Everything is going to the point that Iran is simply being forced to develop its own nuclear weapons. Perhaps he already has it. And then Israel will achieve that there will be “Hiroshima” on their territory. Iran understands that without nuclear weapons they will not be allowed to live normally. And probably with him too. They will introduce even more sanctions, they will be like Korea. But they are so accustomed to living with sanctions that not much will change. Gradually, some states are realizing who their opponents really are. The attack on the Iranian Consulate in Syria is essentially a declaration of war. Diplomats, according to all international laws, are inviolable. This is essentially recognized by all states, and here Israel really went too far.

I would say that this attack by Iran, on the contrary, demonstrated its political restraint.
One attack, and Israel and the United States warned about the time of the attack.
Insignificant result. A purely political action, without the desire to kill anyone.
And a statement that revenge has been accomplished and no further plans are planned.

So “deputy head of the presidential administration” or “deputy president”? I know the first position, I don’t know the second. Author, check the text BEFORE publication.

I think that the Deputy President of Iran got excited about the end of the era of strategic patience. There are “strategic terpilas”, the main thing is to look around carefully, and they are very close.....

It's not the result that's important here, it's the fact itself that's important. Iran would not have done this before, which means Iran is confident in its abilities. But the Jews didn’t really believe that Iran would dare. It was an unpleasant discovery for them. Israel is generally doing everything to eventually self-destruct.

It was an unpleasant discovery for them.
For them, the protracted operation against Hamas in Gaza is an unpleasant discovery. wink

You need to invest money in IRBM. This is the only way for Iran to convey its response to Israel and US bases in the region. All directions are known...and this is incomparably cheaper than Israel’s costs for missile defense.
In this race, BR has an advantage over ABM.

I remember Zhirinovsky said that everyone will forget about the Ukrainian Reich when the BV flares up. Iran is being dragged into war, deliberately and persistently.

If the Era of Iran's strategic patience is over, then it is necessary to strike the United States, and for this Iran does not have the necessary weapons in sufficient quantities.
The friendship treaty does not allow hitting the oil fields of Northern Arabia, and the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz is the same blow to Northern Arabia in the first place.
It remains to support the Yemeni rebels and revive the activity of the Malay pirates so that they make it as difficult as possible for the maritime collective West. Iran simply does not have enough power, and there is no hope for real support from the PRC and the Russian Federation.

All of you mocking Iran, can you please tell me why the hell Iran's enemy should care about Iran saving face and not only saving face but doing it at the expense of the US losing face?
Do you think that when Iran confiscated US oil in retaliation to the US, but Iran confiscated a double amount of oil seized by the US, that was to save face too? Was that done through coordination as well?
Or when Iran shoots down the most expensive drone on the planet. Was Iran saving face or Trump, who said I stopped the attack because I didn't want to kill Iranians while they only destroyed a drone? Since when did the US become so humanitarian? Which one was actually saving face?
If that is so, then why is it that Russia can't arrange similar save-face shows?
for example, when US seized your tanker with the help of Greeks, you did nothing but iran in contrast to you seized two Greek ships with US-bound oil as their cargo?" Why? Because although the tanker and crews were Russian some of its cargo was Iranian, Iran didn't need to save face because no one knew that some of the cargo was Iranian, but nevertheless, Iran seized two Greek tankers that were both carrying US oil. The Greek foreign minister said to Iranian repesentative that what you did. was like we mistakingly slapped you, and you in return killed our entire family.
But what did Russia do to save face? Nothing
When Americans in Syria killed Russian troops, did Russia dare to attack US bases like Iran did to save face ? No
Why, then, does it seem that everyone only lets Iran save face by attacking them?
Isn't it more likely that it's the other way around, and the ones that are saving face are the US and Israel, who justify their lack of response to Iran's attacks by declaring Iran's operations failed?
And people like you who don't want to admit there is someone with more bravery and self-respect than you who won't allow disrespect, willingly believe whatever narrative the US and Israel are giving you instead of accepting the obvious Iran attacked them, and to save face, say no one died.
Why is there no evidence given by Israel for so-called light damage?
We already know for the fact that they are lying because they said not even one drone landed, yet there is video of at least four drones reaching their target in the same clip.
