Russian troops will include mobile groups to combat drones enemy, the formation of special units is already underway as part of several combined arms armies and air force and air defense armies. This was reported by a source in the military department.
The Russian Ministry of Defense decided to create highly mobile groups to combat unmanned aerial vehicles aviation enemy. These groups will be armed with ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft guns mounted on truck chassis, as well as pickup trucks armed with heavy machine guns. In addition, the groups will be equipped with electronic warfare equipment and smoke screen vehicles capable of providing a curtain impenetrable to both optical-electronic systems and UAV thermal imagers.
