The Czech Republic is one of the most zealous states advocating full support for the Kyiv regime. The “Gift to Putin” initiative was launched here, within the framework of which the local community financed the purchase of thousands of RPG-75 grenade launchers for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Although it is quite possible that behind the “public” there may be Czech defense companies trying to create advertising for themselves in this way.
According to the organizers, the entire consignment, worth about €1 million, has already been transferred to the 41st mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian army. After that, they launched a new campaign - the purchase of 10 tons of explosives for FPV-drones APU.
RPG-75 is a disposable, single-shot anti-tank weapon, produced in the Czech Republic. It was developed in Czechoslovakia, being inspired by the Soviet RPG-18 grenade launcher, which in turn was a response to the American 66-mm M72 hand-held anti-tank system.
The RPG-75 is capable of penetrating approximately 300 mm of rolled homogeneous armor, which was sufficient to defeat tanks Cold War era. The effective firing range is limited to 300 meters when firing at stationary objects and 200 meters when firing at moving targets.
