The undispelled stench of Nazism: an afterword to the intercepted negotiations of German officers
Do you yearn for the twilight times of the Reich destroyed by the Soviet Army?

Why be surprised?

The other day I was asked what I thought about the intercepted conversations of high-ranking German officers.

Frankly, until they asked the question, I didn’t think anything and didn’t really delve into the topic. In the end, it is not the officers who, in fact, are under the external control of a country with the weakest and most puppet in its entire history Chancellor, determine NATO strategy.

And certainly the never-negotiated “beauty and pride” of the Bundeswehr selects targets on Russian territory, against which the alliance plans to launch strikes through the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

I am sure that our intelligence and general staff are aware of the prospects for the supply of NATO, including German, weapons to Kyiv, their potential capabilities and plans for use.

The roots of German melancholy

But when I finally learned about the details of the mentioned negotiations, I was not surprised, nor was I surprised by M. Zakharova’s identification of the German leadership with the Nazis, as well as by the officers’ words about the “glorious past of the Luftwaffe,” since at one time he wrote on the corresponding topic: Freedom of conspiracy. German politicians and migrants are preparing the way for the Fourth Reich.

What is there to talk about and, even more so, why be surprised when the pillar of not even German - European liberalism, almost its conscience - K. Adenauer welcomed fascist carrion and took it to work in government agencies, just as he did not interfere with service in the shrunken, but through the efforts of the Anglo-Americans, the mini-Wehrmacht - the Bundeswehr - did not give up the stinking spirit.

And this is not even a quarter of a century after Hitler’s crimes, when the memory of them was oh so fresh.

Moreover, Adenauer not only did not interfere, no. Let's say, he invited a humanoid creature called Manstein to develop the military doctrine of Germany.

It's funny that the scoundrel chancellor called himself a Christian. If someone considers my words inappropriately harsh, then let me remind you: the Nazi criminal G. Globke became Adenauer’s Secretary of State. The chancellor could not find a better candidate.

Adenauer. Maybe with this gesture he gives an instruction: “So, let’s involve Manstein and Globke in the construction of a new Germany.”

By the way, about Manstein: when he gave up the ghost, he was awarded military honors when he was buried. Not all war criminals are so lucky.

K. Doenitz did not receive the last salute. Do you think at the insistence of the “denazified” West German society? You are wrong. According to the decision of the authorities: it was 1980, the Federal Republic of Germany was headed by G. Schmidt - unlike Adenauer, a worthy chancellor.

But society, on the contrary, in its broad layers became indignant: how can this be? A faithful comrade-in-arms of the Fuhrer, who appointed the Grand Admiral as his successor as head of the Reich, dying under the blows of the Soviet Army, - and bury him without military honors. Look, the grandparents were passionate about how they wanted to hit the current warlike deutsche оffiziere on Russian territory, probably also dreaming of durch die russischen Städte marschieren, and were indignant.

The story of the denial of military honors to Doenitz outraged many in Germany, but recently the seemingly unthinkable phenomenon of German planes in the Yugoslav sky, like the evil dead from hell, more than fifty years after the defeat of fascism, caused practically no reaction at all. And so, yes, the Germans are “denazified.”

But if Adenauer was dragging Hitler’s rabble to himself, then one of the chancellors turned out to be him: K. Kiesinger. Symptomatic: slapping him in the face Beata Klarsfeld were not rewarded, but sentenced to prison, “generously” replaced by a suspended sentence.

If we talk about the conscience of Germany, then it is Beate Klarsfeld

Annexation under the guise of “unification”

Let us not ignore the attitude in Germany towards the GDR, annexed by it and previously betrayed by M.S. Gorbachev.

The attitude cannot be called anything other than vengeful and frenzied, if you remember the humiliation of NPA officers: most of them were not accepted into the Bundeswehr, and those awarded such a dubious honor were demoted in rank and, without recognizing their previous length of service, they were forced to undergo a humiliating, if I’m not mistaken, two-year test .

Although the incorporation of NPA officers into the Bundeswehr would be a genuine overcoming of latent Nazism in the ranks of the latter.

Brothers by arms: fighters of the NPA and the Soviet Army

How do you like this “unification”? In fact, it was nothing more than disgusting revenge. For both in moral qualities and in the level of combat training, the NNA was superior to the Bundeswehr and was rightfully considered the best, along with the Soviet Army, in the Department of Internal Affairs.

And most importantly, our East German brothers in arms remained a reliable ally of the USSR until the last and was considered as such. Let me emphasize: the GDR was precisely an ally, and not a satellite, which the Bundeswehr was and is for its overseas master.

Of course, many members of the SED also did not find a place in the management structures of the “united” Germany. Moreover, some high-ranking officials, including the last leader of East Germany, Egon Krenz, were thrown behind bars.

How do you like this: the criminal Manstein - to the Bundeswehr, the criminal Globke - to the Secretary of State, the ex?-Nazi Kiesinger - to the general chancellor, and the fighter against Nazism Klarsfeld - albeit a suspended sentence; Krentz, who has not committed any crimes, except for far-fetched far-fetched accusations, is in prison.

The next logical step, the new government hastened to actually collapse yesterday the socialist East German economy, giving the workers of the annexed country the opportunity to experience all the delights of capitalism and quickly become convinced that its benefits are not for everyone.

About the fate of superbly trained officers Stasi and there is no need to talk. In the “united” Germany, they became a household name, and then American cinema also worked to demonize them.

Bundeswehr waiting for Frankenstein

Hollywood can, who can argue. But the elite units of the current German special forces, not to mention the Bundeswehr during the confrontation with the Department of Internal Affairs, do not need to be demonized. In their barracks there is still a longing for the twilight German military genius, just waiting for his Frankenstein.

And how can we not remember the scandal that came to light a few years ago? It turns out that a neo-Nazi cell was discovered in one of the counter-terrorism units of the Bundeswehr. Oh. Here "news-That".

Yes, in general, the Bundeswehr is “famous” for being prosperous – I almost wrote: “uneradicated”, but it seems to me that none of the military officials was going to eradicate it – racism, apology for the SS, etc.

KSK special forces. What are these guys talking about in the barracks, away from strangers?

An adequate part of German society notes such sentiments with alarm. It is enough to get acquainted with the report of the Commissioner for Military Affairs of the Bundeswehr P.-H. Bartels.

He gives the following figures: in 2018, 170 cases of manifestations of neo-Nazi sentiments were recorded in the Bundeswehr, while in 2017 there were 167, and in 2016 - only 63.

And these are only the identified facts of neo-Nazism. I think there are many more hidden. The military knows how to keep secrets, especially in front of civilians. And the negotiations that have become public are rather an exception to the rule.

And this kind of conversation, I’m sure, is commonplace for fascist underdogs.

I think: they are looking not only at the Crimean Bridge, nostalgic about the “glorious” times of their grandfathers and great-grandfathers, who dropped bombs on peaceful Soviet cities and villages, ambulance trains, photographed against the backdrop of burning houses and the bodies of dead Red Army soldiers, until they themselves were buried somewhere - somewhere in the Volga steppes, the foothills of the Caucasus, among the fields near Moscow and other expanses of our vast and then still united Motherland.

Presumably, the brave offiziere in friendly drinking sessions, burping and habitually passing gases, are still barking: “We can repeat it,” meaning the events of 1939-1942.

Some probably wore grandfather's uniforms - those who were lucky enough to return to the Fatherland - in childhood they tried on, with iron crosses. And even they listened to their stories about the “glorious” past, imagining their grandfather’s “exploits” in colors.

After this, how can one be surprised by the words of a certain staff corporal cited in the mentioned report? To the question: “What country would he like to live in?" He answered: they say, in Argentina, because there are still Nazis there.

Of course, it is naive to see in these revelations the appearance of a black sheep in the glorious Bundes herd.

Does Germany have a future? Light

How should we react to such escapades?

In fact, it was the last Soviet and first Russian Presidents who had to react. One should not surrender his most reliable ally in the person of the GDR to a geopolitical enemy, the other should not withdraw troops from Germany, finally putting him under the knife Yalta-Potsdam system.

Maintaining our grouping in Germany would eliminate the need to conduct air defense.

Both steps from the point of view of state security are nothing more than political madness and a betrayal of the country’s national interests.

The ruler Darius III Kodoman did not even resist Alexander the Great.

There was no Alexander before either Gorbachev or Yeltsin. But they themselves, with their own hands, opened Pandora's box and let the neo-Nazi genie out of the bottle.

For under the USSR, headed by a veteran of the Great Patriotic War and a participant in the Victory Parade, and the marshals, generals and officers who crushed fascism served in the Armed Forces, there was an open demonstration of nostalgia for the darkest times in German history, especially under W. Brandt and Schmidt, there was bad manners.

Of course, in the modern West German political establishment there are adequate representatives who are far from neo-Nazi sympathies.

And the brightest of them, of course, Sarah Wagenknecht. The figure is controversial, and in no way should one see him as a pro-Russian politician. It is also unlikely that she will occupy the post of chancellor in an American-controlled state.

Sarah Wagenknecht - a ray of light in a dark kingdom?

But I think she should be supported as a charismatic figure constructing a certain, perhaps not the largest, but independent from the United States, political space in Germany.

It is important that the sentiments formed by her and her supporters are taken into account by official Berlin. The Scholtz come and go, but Germany will remain.

In the end, this is in its interests: the resuscitation of normal economic relations with Russia is the same Nord Stream We need it not so much as for us, but for the Germans.

And an adequate part of their political elite should not oppose the steps taken by Moscow to ensure the security of its western borders, which in no way poses a threat to Germany, with which we do not even have a common border.

Actually, the topic of security was the subject of V.V. Putin’s negotiations with both E. Macron and the Chancellor in February 2022. Our proposals were reasonable and did not run counter to the interests of France and Germany, not to mention the absence in them of even a hint of a threat to the security of the territories located west of the Oder.

Both were then still considered by the Kremlin as sane politicians, and not blind executors of overseas will.

And later, Paris still had a chance to mediate in resolving the conflict in Ukraine and return the Fifth Republic to the path of Gaullism - the only one reflecting its true geopolitical interests.

Macron was either not allowed to do this, or he himself did not want to. But in any case, I missed the chance.

Scholz, after his reaction to the terrorist attacks directed against the wallets of the burghers - we are, of course, talking about Nord Streams – in general cannot be considered as a serious political figure.

Another question: is it possible in the future to revive - of course, in a different context and with a different balance of power - ideas K. Haushofer, which I wrote about at one time (I don’t know the author of LJ, he just saved my article published in a now defunct publication: Samurai from the Third Reich).

With a certain degree of caution, I will assume that in the future - yes, but only under the condition of a significant transformation of the ideas about the future of Europe among the political establishment of France and Germany.

After all, the idea Charles de Gaulle about Europe from Lisbon to Vladivostok is similar to Haushofer.

In addition, the influence of the once great Britain in Europe is falling; everyone, including the Germans, is fed up with the American-supported ambition of the Poles. And the American reins may loosen.

As for neo-Nazi sentiments in the Bundeswehr and part of German society, overcoming them is a difficult and lengthy process. And, by the way, military defeat and the departure of the current Kyiv regime into political oblivion could be a good help for Germany after Scholz.

And the appearance, or rather, the content of the next page of its history, largely depends on the Germans themselves: what values will their now young generation be brought up on and whether, having matured, they will give the only acceptable assessment, within the framework of a moral imperative, of the same negotiations of their fellow neo-Nazis .

In what spirit will it be sustained: Immanuel Kant or Goebbelian stench? Moreover, we are talking specifically about a moral imperative. For no one questions the talents of, say, M. Heidegger as a philosopher, but his erudition and talent did not prevent him from becoming a Nazi. The Germans should remember this.

The author of the article is stable in his work in the genre “A little bit about everything, a little bit about the world - an article on VO.”

      One-sentence paragraphs are especially good.

Well, but from the article the direct connection between the Nazis, Darius, de Gaulle, P.-H. Bartels, Sarah Wagenknecht (why in italics... the author knows better), Alexander the Great, Scholz, Macron, ex?-Nazi Kiesinger (where does the question mark come from???), K. Haushofer (why italics again...).

It's funny, the author continues to adhere to his signature style - paragraphs, as always, can be easily swapped, the text does not lose anything from this.
      "Wildcat

... they produced an incoherent text (in which paragraphs can be rearranged in any order), where it is not clear where the beginning is, where the end is and what follows from what; and now you are trying to explain yourself somehow.
You must be ashamed. Don't do this again.
If you haven’t noticed, your article not only “surprised” me, but also other readers. Here's one of the mild reviews: "Reklastik (Roman) Yesterday, 18:53 NEW
Yes, there is practically no logical coherence laughing I always have anxious thoughts after a hangover..."
And read the discussion that arose in the comments!

We will resist issuing “nuts”, because “The ruler Darius III Kodoman did not even resist Alexander the Great."

But how high is the level of analytics in the Analytics section of the Military Review website! Well, where else can you find such an analysis interspersed with German: "Presumably, the brave offiziere in friendly drinking sessions, burping and habitually passing gases, are still barking: “We can repeat it,” meaning the events of 1939-1942."

The author did not read the transcripts of Stalin’s meeting with Grotewohl in 1947 and the list of generals who created the NNA of the GDR.

Read. AND? This is not about the Stalin period, but about the surrender of the GDR in 1990, which did not correspond to the interests of the USSR. And there were no ghouls like Manatein in the NNA. For example, the same Vincent Müller did not sign orders regarding the civilian population similar to those that Manstein signed.

Yes, I understand that they took it here and there. But we are talking about completely complete ghouls. I don't think Brandt or Schmidt would have even offered Manstein a freelance position. Actually, the reference to Adenauer is an attempt to consider the problem in a broader context, taking into account the perspective. Imagine that the Americans in the future decide to reduce their presence in Europe, transferring the powers of overseeing the Poles and French to the Germans. Both economically and demographically, the Germans are superior to both. And with the help of the same States, it will not be difficult for them to achieve military superiority. In short time. And this against the backdrop of a very possible weakening of Russia - there are enough alarm bells. For example, the situation in the field of education and scientific personnel. Will we be able to maintain scientific, and, therefore, military potential at the same level in twenty years, when the Soviet legacy has finally sunk into oblivion, and we find ourselves faced with a strong Germany, which today, like half a century ago, is again experiencing an overpopulation crisis?

To be honest, I still don’t understand what the problem is with these negotiations. Senior officers of a country unfriendly to Russia are talking about what and how they will do if the government orders come. On our TV, deputies and even the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Medvedev himself periodically erase the nuclear ashes of the capital of Europe.

The well-known phrase “The indifference of people and countries gives rise to fascism” remains topical even now. In the new conditions, fascism dresses up in different clothes. When history is being restructured, one must be on guard. Is anyone opposing fascism in different countries? The answer is simple - no one. Without explaining to children what fascism is, we indifferently watch how fascism arises in other countries. The left movement has already given the order of life. The power of the right is becoming more and more evident in all countries. And they have only one path.

I wouldn’t say that the leftist movement in Europe has given up life, although this is a separate topic. As for fascism, its formation, only under different names, took place since the Great Geographically Open, when the Portuguese and Spaniards divided the planet into two parts with the approval of the Pope. And a little later others joined. This is where the attitude, if we follow Danilevsky’s term, of the Romano-Germans, towards forms of culture that were alien and poorly understood by them, was manifested. There were exceptions (oddly enough, one of the most prominent was Cortes, who did not at all want the destruction of Aztec culture and opposed the enslavement of the Indians; through his efforts, Mexico did not fall under the jurisdiction of the Inquisition). And so, it is known that Hitler was inspired by the British genocide of Indians in North America. And the same fascism shocked in many ways precisely because the methods previously used, say, by the Belgians in Africa, suddenly began to be practiced in Europe against the white population. They didn’t shock anyone in the colonies. And the recent events in Rwanda also did not particularly affect anyone. Actually, in Europe it has too deep roots, and no one is going to overcome it.

I don’t presume to immediately claim the correct answer... But I’ll guess offhand: the year you named is detente. OSV-1. Gaullism, although without de Gaulle, was pursued by presidents right up to Mitterrand. That is, the idea of Europe from Lisbon to Vladivostok was not yet a fiction. Plus, in 1972, on Brandt’s initiative, the FRG recognized the GDR. And all this against the backdrop of our collapse in China - the negotiations between Kosygin and Enlai did not normalize the situation and, by the way, thanks to Kissinger, in 1972, the PRC improved relations with the United States and entered the UN Security Council. That is, I admit that ideas, in the long term, of some semblance of a united Europe, were considered on both banks of the Oder. So they were laying the gas pipeline. And not for nothing.
“but at the same time he was dragging gas pipelines past them at an accelerated pace?” A separate and multifaceted topic. It's not just about gas. Let's say, why did they pump crazy amounts of money into the insanely expensive Buran, when Lozino-Lozinsky had the idea to create a much more economical, but no less effective, Spiral system. And this is just an example. And what was invested, for example in agriculture, was not always spent rationally. By the way, I heard that a good study on the Soviet economy is the book by S. Galushka “The Crystal of Growth”. Unfortunately, I haven’t read it myself yet. But maybe it contains the answer to your question.

Let's try to “look” at this article by I. Khodakov from a slightly different “angle”. High-ranking Bundeswehr officers are discussing a completely ordinary task of the military department, which they may have to solve... I admit that our generals from the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces periodically discuss issues with the same "vector" (NATO, USA)... This is their daily activities, for which they are provided with a salary... The question is different: all this “acoustic noise”, “from behind the hill”, is very similar to a well-thought-out and orchestrated “drain” in order to try, once again, to “bend “the intractable Scholz and “insert” the German military vision, the Ukrainian question, into the Obshenatov strategy... Everyone and everyone was excited by this “noise”, even the domestic Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which considered it its duty to “stomp its foot”.... And then what? ?? In the end, perhaps, Scholz will be explained that he is wrong and, perhaps, misunderstood (or did not read his lips) what our Vehovny told him through a long, long “antique” table... And again, the Germans will go.” wunderwaffes" into the Ukrainian Reich's "bins" through the Polish Rzeszow... And Russia, once again, will break out in a "speech" about the Nazi oblivion of Europe, ingratitude, meanness and, further on the list..... Or maybe, nevertheless, inflict massive blow to the Polish "feeding trough" in Rzeszow???? Deprive Ukroreich of a military “hub” and “ease the soul” of Mr. Scholz, who, after all, correctly “read the lips” of our Supreme, what he told him through a long, long table... No Rzeszow - no problem .... And there is nowhere to supply German missile systems... The Americans, it seems, made a “smart move” by arranging this “drain”: they “bent over” Britain with its “manners” on the Ukrainian front, “repeated” to the Ukrainians that it’s time to “give up” with this war and look for ways of peaceful negotiations, and Russia was “hinted” where it can expect new “wunderwaffes” on the LBS if they do not change the tactics of the “white glove” war...

“Or maybe, nevertheless, deliver a massive blow to the Polish “feeding trough” in Rzeszow???? Deprive Ukroreich of a military “hub” and “ease the soul.” “This will not happen. And they, at least within the framework of the current military campaign, will not interfere.

My parents both served in the NVA: my mother as a non-commissioned officer in the communications unit, and my father as a driving instructor at the Ernst Thälmann Army Officer School in Löbau. It's nice to know that people in Russia have not forgotten that there were other times in German-Russian relations.
The question of the German past and how to deal with it today and in the future is a very complex one. Today's German politicians and media love to use the theme of National Socialism to bash any form of patriotism. Focus: all aspirations for independence (for example from America, NATO or the EU) are interpreted as Nazism, and at the same time there is no problem with agitation against Russia as if it were 1943. In fact, these people do not care about National Socialism, they are only doing what they were hired to do: Keeping America inside, Russia outside and Germany below, respectively, a purely negative attitude towards German history is desirable, and towards Russia too, of course.

Once Germany gets rid of foreign domination (if it succeeds at all), it will be faced with the task of creating a new, positive identity without hiding its dark sides - this will not be easy, since many of the positive elements, for example, of the German Empire, appeared long ago and have faded, and There are ruts left from the dark years into which one should not slip - this will require great sensitivity. A particular challenge will be the restoration of German-Russian relations, which is also very difficult after recent events. But what can you do, you can only hope.

Yes, yes, I remember how the residents of the GDR persistently climbed over the Berlin Wall in order to rid the decaying West of neo-Nazi manifestations.

The betrayal of Gorbachev, Yeltsin and all his descendants also awaits vengeance... no matter how they spin and dodge... Stalin’s dungeons, in which the absolute majority were on merit, will seem like flowers to them... The Bolsheviks, infected with the virus, made a mistake in one thing the evils of capitalism cannot be cured... and the attempt to re-educate these degenerates did not produce positive results... Any attempt to live at the expense of others leads to self-destruction. Which is what we are seeing now... But it is necessary to fight for good, and evil spreads by itself. .such is the fate of the existence of this planet...a monster planet....The attempt to get out of this vicious circle failed..The Russians failed...or rather they were helped to fail..Well, now the task is simply to destroy them. For they are dangerous not only for global capitalism, but also for some nationalities of our country. We are especially afraid of the Jews, who understand perfectly well that sooner or later their religious lies will be revealed...

I remember in the 90s the Krauts generally tried to crow that their prosecutor’s office would open cases against our Marshals of Victory for “mass murders of Germans in 1941-1945.” Like, our military commanders did not have the right to destroy the Nazi scum who invaded our country, like, the Nazis carried “European values” to barbaric Russia.
Then even the half-drunk Yeltsin reared up.
But by and large, if it were not for the extermination of the Jews, then today all of Europe would be zagging, and portraits of the possessed Fuhrer would be hanging on every corner. And the Nazi invasion of the USSR and the genocide of Soviet people would be glorified as a defense of “European civilization” from “Russian barbarism.”

As soon as I started reading the article, the thought arose that until the United States goes under water, Europe will remain a buffer gray zone. Why, yes, because Europe, if a cataclysm occurs in our time, will not protect itself in any way. All the peoples who live there are under threat.
This is probably why Russia still supplies LNG to Spain and France.
And according to the text of the article, there is no need to mix everything together. For example, Darius' name was pronounced differently. That's why we live like this today - the era of a broken phone!

KSK special forces. What are these guys talking about in the barracks, away from strangers?
About how inconvenient it is to use a diopter sight during the day without removing your night vision device?
