Samples of small arms of interest to the Russian Land Forces are being produced at Izhmash - Vladimir ChirkinAs previously reported, January 24, Commander-in-Chief of the Land waxes of the Russian Armed Forces, Colonel-General Vladimir Chirkin visited Izhmash.

As the press service of the enterprise, accompanied by the Director General of the NGO Izhmash Konstantin Busygin, he got acquainted with weapons production of the enterprise: visited the machining shop, barrel production and assembly shop, was interested in the capacities and production potential for the production of modern small arms.

After inspecting the production for the Commander-in-Chief, they presented all the images of automatic and sniper weapons produced by Izhmash, as well as high-precision equipment.

During the visit to Izhmash, a closed meeting was held at which Vladimir Zlobin, Chief Designer of the Izhmash Scientific and Production Association, presented to the delegation a report on promising developments of rifle complexes for the needs of the Russian Ground Forces.

Also, the company’s management and the Commander-in-Chief discussed the implementation of development work on the “Warrior” project, following which the Ministry of Defense will purchase a large number of small arms for the Russian army.

Vladimir Chirkin stated that during the tests Izhevsk developments are at the same level as the products of other developers and expressed a wish to improve the products presented by the plant so that Izhmash could receive state contracts for re-equipment of the Russian army in 2014 year.

The samples of weapons presented to the Chief and information on promising developments aroused great interest among the military. Summing up the visit to the enterprise, Vladimir Chirkin noted that he personally became convinced that worthy samples of small arms were produced at Izhmash, which are of interest to the Ground Forces of Russia.

“I am confident that this meeting will help improve and accelerate the interaction between us as a manufacturer and customer of military products. We are planning to develop our cooperation in order to once again provide Izhmash with state orders from the Russian Ministry of Defense, ”said Izhmash general director Konstantin Busygin, summing up the meeting.

It would be better to move from words to deeds. We produce the best small arms and even turn the muzzle from our own - this is with a stool. I think now everything should fundamentally change.

When a "furniture maker" turns his face up from a tried and true weapon - this is trouble
But бbig trouble comes when from the weapons purchased by the furniture maker breaks the army.

      Things do, sorry for taftalogy
And most importantly, Shoigu approached this thoroughly!

      Here's an example:
Russia's defense plan that takes into account threats and risks presented to Putin
MOSCOW, Jan 29 - RIA News. Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu presented Russian President Vladimir Putin with a Russian defense plan that takes into account all aspects - both threats and risks, and the weapons program for the first time. At a meeting with Shoigu and the head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov, the head of state asked for a report.

“Today we are really submitting to you for approval the defense plan of the Russian Federation. A large team of all ministries and departments worked on the plan, and more precisely - 49 ministries and departments. All details, all fragments have been worked out. The plan is consistent with everyone. But the most important thing is that this plan takes into account the future and further development, including the implementation of the state armament program, ”said the head of the Ministry of Defense.

In addition, according to Shoigu, the document takes into account all possible risks.

“In our opinion, a fairly complete analysis of what can await us in the coming decades has been carried out. That is why we believe that he is ready for approval. Naturally, I would like to add that this is not a final, not frozen form. And in connection with various events around our country, with different threats, he, of course, can be adjusted and will be adjusted, of course, ”the minister said.

Do you think that we have 49 ministries and departments able to develop and coordinate a similar document in 2 months? Oh really laughing here the Defense Ministry and the military-industrial complex for years cannot agree on prices

In my opinion, this issue is more dependent on the position of the President and the Minister of Defense. If there is a will and desire, then any issue is very quickly resolved!

Well, anyway, prepare such a plan in two months - I doubt it very much. I think the document was being prepared for a long time - but it was buksanul or simply postponed, I had to pass a law, kick, turn on what you are talking about and the process went

I understand that do not follow the conversation, but write the answer to what has hooked you.
I’m writing about two months - because Shoigu is already credited to this, but the document is extremely serious - there are also so many departments.

It turns out that until that time we had no plans at all, or only plans for an offensive, as in 1941?. And on the basis of what was the state defense order planned then all these years? It turns out that until 1991, we had only incompetent people working in the Ministry of Defense people?

          ramzes1776,

No, I think that normal people worked, I just can’t relate to the previous Minister of Defense except for the traitor, therefore I’m almost sure that there was a delay with the adoption of this document and by a specific person!

Well, I think it was more a formality ... they say you see we choose small arms .. and not everything was decided 50 years ago ... I hope the new small arms will not be an easy modernization of the AK-74 ... and why the silence by the way on AK12? Who can enlighten about his fate?

Passed the tests, revealed flaws in it, sent it for processing, finalized and will be tested again. So everything is going according to plan. Small arms will not be bought new until 2015 of the year, until they will be bought purely equipment. So Izhmash has time to tighten quality and develop something new.

Thanks for the info. If they develop something new .. until they conduct tests, they start production, the same will take more than one year. So yes .. time is at their fingertips.

strannik595, and these "monsters" of military affairs were trying to resist the Japanese Kwantung army of only 1 million fighters?
they "broke" it in 3 weeks, while practically not reaching hand-to-hand combat.
I think the Japanese are MUCH lucky that their sapper blades were not chopped.
then the prisoners would simply not be at all ...
and then all sorts of "experts" say that the Japanese army was understaffed, the tanks drove poorly, the guns did not fire ...
Amers, the Japs cut well, but our warriors came, hardened in battles, and at once everything became "bad" for the Japanese, right down to sight and hearing)))
it’s not a weapon, but who uses it ...
        I think so.
        Russian fun)))

when you were first worked out by Katyusha, then ironed by the T-34, IS and KV, then the Russian soldiers ran through, then naturally you don’t drive tanks, they don’t shoot rifles, and your eyesight and hearing deteriorated sharply.

Everything would be fine if it were not for the humiliatingly low salaries at the plant. 10 - 15 tr per month. Who else would figure out where the proceeds from the sale of arms for export go. Most likely an insatiable leadership, with gtoptop managers and their own gaskets.

Vladimir Chirkin noted that he was personally convinced that Izhmash produced decent samples of small arms of interest to the Russian Ground Forces. hmm ....... apparently in our ministry of defense in the last 15 years only giraffes have been working, which they have come to for years ... and before it was impossible to pay attention to the samples of weapons manufactured by IL? there, all warehouses are littered with experimental samples .... deer ... well, right, it was first necessary for each general to save his summer house with a bathhouse, grandchildren-great-grandchildren to save their lives and now you can start spending army money on the army

He said that- "I had more personnel in the division than in the entire 36th army." smile If he stays in office, then I think he will bring all his started work to the end !!!

In the Moscow Oblast, the people clearly healed, they felt that they didn’t have to rely on partners from the EU. It is necessary to prepare a defense complex with a view to domestic resources (both human and production), to purchase only a few best BT models to improve the characteristics of domestic weapons, as for small arms, we have really worthy specimens, we have to make a decision. It’s time already !!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’s cool, but you shouldn’t stop at what has been achieved, we need to work on improving the Nikonov assault rifle, improving balanced automation, sliding systems, muzzle brakes, researching plastics for body kit, exploring the possibility of making an automaton frame from polymers well, and then on the list.

Maybe there are some new developments at the plant, but so far we are only showing the old modernized ones. And here’s the real picture — my friend took the SVT-40 hunting carbine to the factory in Tula, he had to re-fire it - he waited a year, and no one wanted to take the banal reason because there was no one to experience or the youth were afraid to know, there was only one special grandfather left about 70 years, here he was on sick leave or on vacation, but in the end they did. But for a year, though everything was officially and paid off. There were no good workers left since the salaries were just ridiculous)))
