The Greek Defense Minister did not rule out the sale of “extra” artillery shells to Ukraine to the United States

Greece does not rule out supplying Ukraine with ammunition, but only with an expiring date. This statement was made by the country's Minister of Defense Nikos Dendias, trying to explain the information that had appeared that the United States was asking the Greeks weapon for Kyiv.

Greek journalists asked the Minister of Defense to comment on rumors that the United States approved the supply of F-35 fighter jets to Greece, expecting compensation from Greece. And the Americans would like to receive weapons and ammunition for Ukraine. Dendias practically confirmed this information, but said that Athens can only supply Kyiv with “extra” ammunition or with expiring dates, which will need to be replaced anyway. In general, this will not affect Greece’s defense capabilities in any way, but on the contrary, will bring large revenues.

There is ammunition that will expire in the foreseeable future, therefore, this means that we will have to replace them at some point one way or another, and they may be sold (...) I assure you: since we have a sea of needs, dozens the millions we can get from certain things are very beneficial

- the minister said.

According to Greek resources, the United States plans to purchase about 50 thousand 105 mm shells, 20 thousand 155 mm shells, and 5 thousand 203 mm shells from the Greeks for Ukraine. For all this, the Americans are offering the Greeks 47 million dollars, the deal is in its final stages.

What can you say about deliveries to/to Bayraktarov and quite a few other things from Turkey? Or is this something else?

The Turks need to finally show the Greeks who is boss in the region.

Both the Turks and the Greeks are now under the control of the USA and Great Britain, so there is no difference between them, except for religion.
For the future, and even now, we generally need to switch and change the minds of politicians and the population from fraternal mutual assistance to sober calculation in relationships. It’s easier to live this way and not suffer later from the betrayal of this or that country that we liberated or sold resources to it cheaply for the sake of sugary words and an insincere smile. soldier

so there is no difference between them,

So I’m talking about the fact that it wouldn’t be bad if the Turks and Greeks had a little quarrel, so to speak. To ensure that the Americans were promised about 50 thousand 105 mm shells, 20 thousand 155 mm shells, as well as 5 thousand 203 mm shells. flew towards the Turks and the Turks, in turn, answered them. And everything was according to the American principle: Divide and conquer.

The USA knows how to bargain - $626 per shell. And how much will the Greeks buy shells from the USA for then? 203 mm caliber is some kind of not very clear one, comes from the USSR?

Do the Armed Forces of Ukraine have M110 A2 self-propelled guns (USA) or are their shells compatible with Soviet artillery systems?

And the Americans bought the Greeks. These people must understand that shells are not sold in the USA for building houses.

It's just business. An opportunity has arisen to update your arsenals and, at the same time, instead of destroying old stuff, get money for it. So everyone rushed to sell all their outdated weapons to/in Ukraine.

Yes, the problem of conscience is not relevant. After all, the Greeks will not be asking for a discount on gas, oil is cheaper, or inviting our tourists.
Maybe it's time to slowly put everything in its place. Should I remind fellow businessmen that the answer will be the same? Remind the Greeks that we will not mind if the Turks take away the islands from them (this is a possible answer)

They will sell these shells so that these shells will kill citizens of the Russian Federation! These countries must answer for such business!

To be honest, those who sell weapons have never been interested in who they will kill. The USSR and Russia are among them. Look how many Soviet and Russian weapons there are in the world, which have now turned against us and are killing our Russian citizens. So who, according to your logic, should be responsible for this? Ourselves?

And the former Warsaw Pact countries purposefully transferred all Soviet weapons directly to Ukraine without any intermediaries, which is even worse.

These countries must bear responsibility for this! They all must understand that they will be punished for any transfers of weapons to the Ukrainian Republic! so that it wouldn’t be a stalemate for us!

It is necessary to organize a Maidan in Cyprus, it will be fun for the Greeks, let him try not to respond to aggression, to respond to such unfriendly moments as harshly as possible and not mumble something incomprehensible, such people only understand force

The Greeks, inspired by American promises of money and the sale of their weapons, immediately remembered that they also had military equipment that could be used in Ukraine. Few of them were financially bent by Merkel in her time, so much so that they whined to the entire EU. And many then, out of old memory, felt sorry for the Greeks, who, instead of working, sat in coffee shops and waited for financial help.

Orthodox Christians sell weapons to kill Orthodox Christians. Just as Christians killed each other despite their faith, they continue to do so.

Ships traveling with military aid to Ukraine must be sunk. Otherwise there are only red lines, and we don’t even voice them anymore. The main principle is to respond like this. And we keep mumbling, we didn’t respond to the expulsion of diplomats, we kept silent about the supply of weapons, so we’ve all lost our sense of smell, no one is afraid of anything.
