Comic "Goose Drone and the Animal Brotherhood"

Not only the military, but also our smaller brothers participate in the North Military District in Ukraine. Animals serve on the front lines and help in rehabilitation centers, providing psychological support to wounded soldiers. They protect the sleep of soldiers, lighten their burden on the battlefield and simply become talismans.

From time to time, videos appear about the most striking cases of interaction between military personnel and animals in the Northern Military District zone.

Some battle pets even have call signs: the dog Sarmat, the cat Barmaley, the raccoon Kherson, the goose Dron.

Dog Sarmat saved many lives. He warned about the approach of the enemy, heard flying quadcopters in the distance, gave a signal, found mines, and performed guard duty.

He died when he was blown up by a tripwire.

He became the winner of the popular vote of the international award “My Tender and Necessary Animal.”

Cat Barmaley became the mascot of the “Southern” group of the Russian Armed Forces.

Raccoon Kherson - a symbol of the paratroopers and their victories, runs the Telegram channel “Raccoon from Kherson”, where he publishes posts in support of the Russian paratroopers.

Goose Drone serves in the Northern Military District zone and guards the checkpoint.

It was these animal heroes that inspired me to come up with characters and write the script for the patriotic comic book “Goose Drone and the Brotherhood of Animals,” the goal of which is to bring positivity into our difficult times, instilling optimism and faith in our unconditional Victory.

Players

Sarmat – a fearless dog-warrior of mine detection and guard services. Wears a chevron in the shape of a dog's paw.

Kherson - raccoon blogger, runs a Telegram channel. Paratroopers mascot. On special occasions he puts on a blue Airborne beret.

Barmalej - a relaxing cat, invigorates our soldiers and selflessly destroys mouse saboteurs. Lost his right eye in an unequal battle with enemy rats.

Drone – feathered attack goose attack aircraft. It was presented by a local resident to the military personnel of group “Z” as a token of gratitude for their assistance in eliminating the consequences of an attack on her house by enemy forces. drones.

They're all a squad "Animal Brotherhood", are stationed in a dugout with a sign “Zootopia” and operate directly in the special operation zone as combat assistants to the military.

They are opposed boar Mykola – the namesake of a piglet from a German portal that promotes language adaptation of Ukrainian refugees. He wears a Fuhrer mustache and a long forelock.

Together with Mykola, hordes of enemy rats and mice harm us.

Plot

Hand-drawn story it starts like this:

The action will take place on the front line. The “animal brethren” will have to make daring forays behind enemy lines. The first will be an operation to capture secret enemy documents, where the Drone goose will receive a baptism of fire...

A truly intriguing narrative, exciting battles with treacherous enemies, witty dialogues, references to Russian classic films, historical references based on the heroic examples and exploits of our compatriots, quotes from great commanders and an unexpected ending! And all this in dynamic professional drawings! Plus a powerful ideological and patriotic component! All this will form the basis of the comic book “Goose Drone and the Brotherhood of Animals”!

Sketches

Goose pig is not a friend!

Our brave heroes Sarmat, Barmaley, Kherson and Dron do not have superpowers. They have the qualities of Russian warriors: fighting spirit, determination, courage, cohesion and mutual assistance. And instead of combat weapons they use a keen eye, sensitive hearing, excellent sense of smell and sound mind and, of course, powerful fangs, sharp claws and a strong beak. All these extraordinary natural abilities help our Z-four complete combat missions and bring our common victory over the Nazi beast closer.

On December 11, the long-awaited meeting of the symbol of the Airborne Forces and the Southern Military District took place in Moscow.

Unfortunately, Goose Dron was unable to leave his combat post and directly meet with his comrades. But on the pages of a comic book this is quite possible!

Dear readers of the Military Review website!

You can take an active part in writing the plot for new hand-drawn series with our fearless heroes in battle with an insidious enemy. Write briefly about new exploits Drona, Sarmat, Kherson and Barmaley in the comments or send your scripts to me by email ([email protected]).

It will be interesting and, most importantly, intelligible for the younger generation. The idea is not bad, incl. and in terms of information counter-propaganda. By the way, the enemy (Ukraine) has been using comics for propaganda purposes for a long time.

When animals help fighters, it shocks and touches. Everything that pleases and calms a fighter is all for the good. There is a story online about how a fighter brings home to his friend a beautiful cat, born in the Northern Military District and raised by the fighters.
I remember in a children’s magazine, I don’t remember the name, a story about the mare Zina, who in the Civil War was the war horse of a red Cossack who died. She was assigned to a collective farm. In her old age, during the Great Patriotic War, she was brutally shot by the German occupiers AS AN ENEMY.
In general, animals participated and were used in all human wars. They served people unselfishly and selflessly. There have long been several articles about animals during the Second World War. This article is super!!!

Well, “gotten” is the word they used. If you don't like it, don't write. And I even really like the idea, and the heroes are very real, although they are “beasts”. Respect to the author.

In Buddhism, it is believed that Great Saints (Boddhisattvas), out of compassion for other beings, incarnate into animals. Buddha Shakyamuni himself, for example, incarnated several times as a white elephant, also as a king of monkeys, a hare, a frog, etc. Therefore, the animals mentioned in the article deserve respect. They are on the front line.

The forum member apparently had in mind a comic book, as a phenomenon not ours. Personally, this idea is interesting and necessary for me. For children. But in reality, our little brothers have always played a big role on the battlefield.

    Necessary for children.
In general, we need to gradually carry out explanatory work.

      Necessary for children.

Definitely. My own grandson is growing up, and all the video (cartoon) stuff available to him is based on all sorts of spider people, “Bro” dogs and other crap from foreign trash heaps, but almost nothing of ours is home-grown and home-made. If we want to raise our heroes, then we need to raise them on folk heroes and characters.

There are pigs, rats and cockroaches on our side of good. And there are animal heroes on their side of Evil.
There is no need to divide by skin color or breed. It is necessary to share truthfully.
And “it’s easier for children to understand this way” can end up being simplified to the limit.
