“Long live the southern winters, in them the autumn with spring in half,” wrote the poetess Julia Drunina about the Crimea, but the same can be said about Damascus. On January 9, it seemed that winter had come to the city, and the snow was falling thickly with large white flakes, covering the ground with grass, fallen autumn leaves and still fresh flowers. A gloomy sky, a piercing wind, people freezing in unheated apartments ... Indeed, because of the terrorist activities of pseudo-revolutionaries, because of Western sanctions against an undesirable country, there are problems with fuel oil and gas, although these problems never happened before, and the fuel was cheap . But people even in the midst of this cold and hardship found joy - children and young people made snowmen, on the background of which they took pictures. Some snowmen were decorated with Syrian flags. They played snowballs, even knowing that later frozen hands would have nowhere to warm ... After all, snow is rare here.
The next day, the sun grew warmer, the sun shone from the sky, and streams began to flow down the city sidewalks. The snow cover, laid out the day before, began to melt, asphalt appeared on the roads from under it and looked through the grass on the lawns and the flowers did not freeze, but it seemed to have become even more beautiful, droplets of melted water began to shine upon them under the clear sun. And so their corollaries look unusual against the snow that has not yet completely melted .. Just like timid snowdrops in our latitudes. As if the winter looked in on a visit for one day, and again in the air it smelled in the spring. It seems to go on April Moscow, in a nice fine day. However, roadblocks with flags flying over them clearly indicate that this is not Moscow, this is Syria. The soldiers, harsh in appearance, many of whom have probably already learned what danger is in the night, pain from wounds, loss of comrades, are smiling, seeing the spring glitter in the eyes of passersby ...
Spring, as usual, brings new hope. Here and in Syria a new hope has arisen - on a clean and peaceful sun from the sky, on new carefree springs, on a long-awaited victory over conspiracy and terrorism. It was not accidental and very symbolic that President Bashar Al-Asad’s speech, which set forth a new program for resolving the current difficult situation, sounded on Christmas Eve, on the eve of Christmas - the time when people are waiting for miracles.
And only here, on the southern frontiers, after Christmas Eve and Christmas, it can so clearly smell in the spring in the air ... And only here, in such a harsh environment, after almost two years of confronting world evil, merciless terror, and cruel blockade, everyone is perceived in a special way a ray of hope for peace and victory.
Having put forward the initiative to resolve the crisis, convening a national dialogue and the subsequent restoration of the country, the President of Syria has brought both spring and victory with his heroic performance. It was not by chance that I called this speech heroic - too many threats were sent to him, too powerful. weapons Terrorist gangs possess - they were even supplied by Earth-to-Air and Earth-to-Earth missiles. Too experienced gangsters are fighting in the ranks of the rebels and too professional assistants assist them. In such conditions, performing in front of an overcrowded theater hall is already a kind of victory.
After the president put forward a new initiative, indicating the way out of the most difficult situation, he ordered the Council of Ministers to hold an extraordinary meeting at which the details of the program should be worked out and its implementation started.
8 and 9 January, a government meeting was held, following which a detailed roadmap for resolving the crisis was developed based on the Bashar Assad plan. It consists of three stages.
At the first, preparatory, stage, the following steps should be taken: regional and international forces should stop supporting terrorists, after which the terrorists will have no choice but to stop the violence. Then the Army will stop military operations, reserving the right to self-defense and the protection of citizens. A ceasefire and border control mechanism is needed. Humanitarian assistance will be provided to all who need it. Next, you need to ensure the return of Syrian citizens who, because of the actions of the militants have become refugees, to their homes, and an amnesty to those participants in the unrest who did not take part in the killings and terrorist attacks.
After that, according to the plan, preparations for the Conference of the national dialogue begin, in which all opposition forces should take part, whose hands are not stained with the blood of their fellow citizens.
The second stage of the peace plan for resolving the crisis envisages the holding of a conference of national dialogue. The objective of this conference is to form a National Charter. Its basic principles are the preservation of sovereignty, the territorial integrity of the Syrian state, the protection of the security of citizens, the rejection of all forms of violence, terror and foreign intervention. The development of the rest of it - this is the purpose of the conference. After that, the charter will be submitted to a popular referendum. Then a new, expanded government representing all sectors of society is formed, and a commission is created to draft a new Constitution, which will also be put up for public discussion. Further, new parliamentary elections are held.
At the third stage, all the agreements of the Conference are implemented and the process of restoring everything destroyed is underway. Affected citizens are paid compensation. An amnesty is held for persons not involved in particularly serious crimes, however, while preserving the rights of citizens affected by the terror. There is a modernization of the country.
Thus, while the international conspirators invented completely unrealistic plans, the purpose of which was to bring Syria to her knees, force her to capitulate and bow her head to the aggressors - inside her own country, her own plan was born like a flower from under the snow. The plan, in which there is no place for bandits, murderers and persons supporting them from the outside, but the door is open for all who wish Syria a better future. A plan that rejects foreign dictates and gives the right to choose the path to the Syrian people themselves. The plan, which, if executed, will end in national reconciliation, a complete victory over terror and the modernization of the country.
And almost all political forces of Syria, both pro-government and opposition, have already expressed support for this plan. The Syrian National Progressive Front, which also includes the ruling Arab Socialist Renaissance Party, called the Assad Plan the only way to save the country and preserve its independence and territorial integrity. The parties that make up the National Progressive Front have announced that they are ready to act together with all the patriotic forces to implement this program, which allows them to build a new Syria that would continue its independent course and the path of resistance to foreign dictates.
In a statement, the National Progressive Front noted that the president’s keynote speech contained not only the situation in Syria, but also the situation in the region and in the international arena, and exposed the actions of the forces that had organized the anti-Syrian conspiracy. The front stressed that a sharply negative reaction to the plan from the side of the terrorists and the forces supporting them suggests that their plans have failed, and they are powerless. And the oldest capital in the world, in spite of everything, will remain a symbol of national struggle and perseverance.
President expressed support to the initiative and the Syrian Communist Party. In its statement, the Communist Party noted the importance of this program in order to stop the crimes of terrorists, to prevent the incitement of religious and interfaith discord and the division of the country, which is achieved by circles opposing Syria.
“Defense of the motherland is the main task for every Syrian,” the Communist Party said in a statement, “and work on the implementation of the political program for resolving the crisis will ensure the independence and unity of Syria and the protection of the Motherland from the evil of its enemies.”
The Syrian Communist Party again condemned the anti-Syrian sanctions that the people are suffering from, and hiring terrorists from around the world to participate in crimes against the country and its citizens. But all of this, the statement states, is not capable of breaking the resilience of the citizens of Syria, which continues its struggle to stop the aggression unleashed against it, by all means, both military and political.
In addition, - and this is carefully hidden from the public by the Western media, because it does not fit into the “official version” of the West - the majority of the internal Syrian opposition also supported the president’s plan.
The opposition Democratic Avant-garde Party has assessed the plan as an effective way to solve problems and noted that the Syrians are faced with a choice: either they are with the Homeland or against it, and therefore the initiative is addressed to all the forces of the country, except those foreign agents who are connected with external forces .
Another opposition party called “Narodnaya Volya” called this plan a safe way to resolve the crisis. The statement of the party emphasizes that an important turnaround took place in the Syrian crisis: all parties to the conflict have already recognized that its political resolution is necessary, and those who reject the dialogue are guilty of shedding Syrian blood.
The president’s plan was also supported by such political forces operating inside the country as the Union Socialist Party, the National Democratic Union, the Syria is Our Homeland Party, the Patriotic Youth for Justice and Development, and the General Federation of Trade Unions.
However, the external enemies did not like the plan of the new Syrian hope. Many Western politicians burst into heart-rending screams on the theme: "Assad simply clings to power." And it is not known to these gentlemen that in such conditions power is not a blessing, but a huge responsibility, risk and burden. The presidential chair turns into a cross, for which they do not cling, but which are carried under the evil cries of enemies, among which are the richest and most powerful forces of this world.
And so the plan did not appeal to the pseudo-opposition - the so-called “Qatari coalition”, created artificially under the leadership of the hostile countries of Syria and based on terrorist methods. But if the opinion of these criminals and puppets was distributed throughout the world media under loud headlines: “The opposition rejects the Assad plan,” then the support for the plan by those opposition forces operating inside the country and participating in its political life, overwhelmingly .
Why is it that the countries of the West and those states of the region that support the pseudo-revolution in Syria do not like this plan? Because its implementation means the complete failure of their plans, the collapse of their plans, the irretrievable loss of huge material resources, which they have plunged into the militants.
Of course, this move by the President of Syria was a complete surprise to them. But now the roles have changed. And if earlier these forces could blame President Bashar Al-Assad for rejecting all peace plans, now they themselves look like forces eager not for peace, but wars that reject the initiative coming from the Syrian people.
Of course, for the implementation of the plan it would be very important to stop the support of terrorist gangs from abroad. But the main thing is that it will still be implemented, even if the enemies of Syria do not fulfill this condition. It has already begun to be implemented, and Prime Minister Vail Al-Khalki began holding consultation meetings with representatives of political parties, and Deputy Foreign Minister Faisal Al-Mekdad met with heads of diplomatic missions and international organizations to discuss this program. In addition, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent a letter to the SAR to support the program, addressed to the UN leadership.
Iran supported this program, and the Russian Foreign Ministry said that the ideas expressed by President Bashar Al-Assad must be considered.
I do not want to dwell in detail on the words of those Western leaders who unanimously cursed the plan even before they were given it in their hands. But I would like to mention a case that can be called curious, namely: the pitiful words of the Emir of tiny Qatar, Hamad At-Thani.
Following his masters, he criticized the plan of overcoming the Syrian crisis, the emir urged Assad ... "to take a bold decision that would stop the bloodshed and achieve national reconciliation in the country." Of course, by such a decision he means what he himself would have done at the first danger - to flee the country.
It’s ridiculous when a little monarch, who rests only on the bayonets of his overseas masters and curses favor with them, as they wish, says something about courage to the leader of the state, who is being attacked by the leading imperialist countries and all their puppets. When the emir-puppet, even going to the restroom with numerous guards, insists on courage to the President, who stood in the middle of the city of Homs - one of the hottest spots in Syria, in its most troubled quarter - Bab-Amr - and calmly communicated with the soldiers and residents of the city. All the courage of the Qatari Emir ends where the territory of the largest American base in the region located in this tiny country begins.
But At-Thani's further words sound even more funny, in which he says that "in its time, the League of Arab States appealed to Assad to stop exercising their presidential powers, form a transitional government, prepare a new Constitution and hold general elections", - If we consider that in Qatar there is almost an absolute monarchy of a dark medieval type, the country has not seen any elections at all for a long time, and the emir himself came to power, having squeezed his aged father, and his term of office was not defined Helena in principle. Probably, it will sit on the throne until there is an equally cunning heir, or the United States will not want to see this rubber doll inflated with gas and will want to replace it with another.
And for absolutely unknown reasons, the plan of Bashar Al-Assad was condemned by the UN special envoy for Syria Al-Ibrahimi. Although this plan relies on its mission and on the Geneva communique. And at the end of last year, Al-Ibrahimi himself was in Damascus, and this issue was probably discussed with him. Regarding the position of Al-Ibrahimi, who condemned the plan and even called it “sectarian” (for which, however, I apologized the next day, but added another spoonful of tar - said that Presidential al-Asad had no place in the future government), expressed bewilderment of the Syrian Foreign Ministry, suggesting that he had not even studied it, but expressing the hope that the special envoy would nevertheless cooperate with the Syrian side to bring the peace plan to life.
Al-Ibrahimi as an experienced diplomat certainly understands that what Western leaders and their puppets want - the resignation of Bashar Assad - the President, supported by the majority of the population - is impossible, as it is impossible to remove him from the process of political settlement. After all, this would mean removing the overwhelming majority of Syrians from the political life of the country, who will never agree to this. And such a requirement negates all other proposals and efforts.
It remains to be assumed that the special envoy made this statement under the pressure of those parties that are in turmoil and try to hide it behind ostentatious arrogance and impudence. Because their fake project called "Arab Spring" has failed. He has already turned into two "Arabian autumn." The first was in Libya, after the barbaric murder of Muammar Gaddafi, unthinkable abuse of his body, immersion of Libya into hopeless chaos, in which even the American ambassador did not survive. The second was in Syria, when a lot of blood was spilled from innocent citizens as a result of monstrous terrorist acts carried out under the slogans of the “struggle for democracy”, but at the same time Syria, which was predicted to fall, held out.
Now comes the time of true Spring - Syrian Spring. Syrian hope and Syrian victory.
