Concern "Kalashnikov" presented new small arms, including the updated AK-12

Recently, the Kalashnikov concern held a large-scale event for the press, at which it presented new small arms manufactured by the concern's enterprises. This is reported by the YouTube channel Lazarev Tactical.

The concern paid the main attention to the AK-12 combat machine in its latest version, with a large number of changes and additions. In addition, the concern presented other samples weapons - PPK-20, microwave, AK-308, traumatic PLCT.

The AK-12 2023 has certain innovations designed to make it more practical and efficient. So, the trigger mechanism will be redesigned in the machine, in particular, the cut-off mode for two shots will be excluded.

We return to the standard scheme, when the trigger mechanism has three positions - safety positions, single and automatic fire

- says the chief designer Sergei Urzhumtsev.

In addition to this option, a two-way control of the safety mechanism is introduced. On both sides of the machine, special levers appear that can be controlled by the hand without taking it off the pistol grip. Another innovation is the butt with a tactical cheek. It is easily removed from the machine and easily installed on it, the designer notes.
