Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation: the advance of Russian forces in the area of ​​Sergeevka in the LPR amounted to 12 kilometers

In the Krasnolimansky direction, the Russian military repelled a counterattack by militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who were trying to advance in the area of ​​​​the village of Chervonaya Dibrova (LPR). At the same time, the loss of enemy personnel amounted to approximately 185 people.

Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov, representative of the RF Ministry of Defense, spoke about this at today's briefing.

He also said that near the village of Yampol, the Russian Armed Forces destroyed the ammunition depot of the 100th brigade of the territorial defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Our military build on the success achieved on the territory of the LPR. The advance of Russian forces in the Sergeevka area since July 23 has totaled 12 kilometers along the front and three kilometers into the depth of the enemy defenses.

In the Donetsk direction, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation repulsed nine attempts to storm our positions. At the same time, more than two hundred militants were destroyed.

Marines from the 35th Brigade tried to attack Russian positions on the South-Donetsk sector of the front in the area of ​​Urozhaynoye (DPR). As a result, their attack bogged down, which was greatly facilitated by the actions of the Russian aviation and artillery. The enemy lost 16 people and two armored vehicles.

Also, the actions of their sabotage and reconnaissance group near the village of Staromayorskoe in the Donetsk Republic turned out to be unsuccessful for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They were stopped by our fighters.

In the area of ​​​​the settlement of Rabotino in the Zaporozhye region, where the enemy had previously suffered heavy losses during the assault attempts, a relative calm was observed during the past night.
