In a number of regions of Russia, due to the actions of PMC "Wagner", a CTO regime was introduced
In connection with the current situation in a number of Russian regions, a CTO (counter-terrorist operation) regime has been introduced on the territory of several regions of the Russian Federation. This is reported by the media with reference to the National Anti-Terrorism Committee.
Moscow and the Moscow region were the first to introduce the CTO regime on their territory, as reported by the NAC. Unprecedented security measures are being taken in Moscow, armed law enforcement officers and military personnel are concentrating on the streets of the city.
Then it became known about the introduction of a counter-terrorist operation regime in the Voronezh region. Earlier, conflicting information appeared on the Internet that fighters from the Wagner PMC had entered the region. In addition, it became known about the closure of a section of the M4 Don highway from 464 to 777 km.
Interestingly, the CTO regime has not yet been introduced in the Rostov region. At least there is no official information about this yet. But it is in Rostov-on-Don that the main part of the Wagner PMC fighters, led by Yevgeny Prigozhin himself, is now located. He has already held a meeting with the generals of the RF Armed Forces in the building of the headquarters of the Southern Military District in the center of Rostov-on-Don. A number of the central streets of the city are blocked by military equipment and people with weapons.
Recall that the introduction of the counter-terrorist operation regime implies the possibility of a number of restrictions for citizens and additional rights for security officials.
Among other things, it is allowed to remove citizens from certain objects and areas of the area, control telephone conversations and turn off communications and the Internet, use private vehicles in the public interest, temporarily resettle citizens to safe areas, restrict the movement of vehicles and pedestrians, and so on.
