The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed the night missile attack on military airfields of Ukraine
Russian troops continue to launch rocket attacks on Ukrainian military installations, destroying warehouses with ammunition, military equipment and weapons supplied by Western countries. This time Russia attacked military airfields. This is stated in the new report of the Ministry of Defense.
According to the message of the military department, on the night from Saturday to Sunday, a group missile strike was carried out with high-precision air-launched munitions. The targets were command posts, radar posts, aviation equipment, as well as storage facilities with weapons and ammunition located at enemy airfields. According to the Ministry of Defense, all designated objects were hit, the goals of the strike were achieved.
Information about the defeat of the airfields was partially confirmed by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as the speaker of the Air Force Ignat said, two Russian missiles hit the airfield near Kropyvnytskyi (Kirovograd). According to Kyiv, ours allegedly launched only six missiles, lifting as many as six Tu-95MS strategic missile carriers into the air. Naturally, all the rest, except for two, were "beaten" by the air defense of Ukraine.
In addition, ours delivered a number of strikes with Iskander OTRK missiles at military facilities in Ukraine. In the region of Dnepropetrovsk, a workshop for the assembly of Ukrainian drones. On the main directions without any changes, the main hostilities are taking place in the Maryinsky and Avdeevsky directions, where the assault groups of the Akhmat special forces detachment and units of the 1st Army Corps of the Southern Group of Forces have gone on the offensive. Ours are moving forward, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are suffering heavy losses. In the area of Slavyansk and Minkovka, the warehouses of the Liman operational-tactical group and 128 OMBR of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed.
In the Kupyansk and Krasno-Limansk directions, artillery and aviation strikes on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue, five Ukrainian DRGs have been destroyed. An ammunition depot of the 63rd Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was destroyed in the Serebryanka area of the DPR.
In the South-Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions, Russian troops continue to strike with artillery and aircraft, there is no information from the Ministry of Defense about the advancement of our and Ukrainian forces. In the areas of Temirovka and Preobrazhenka, Zaporozhye region, ammunition depots of the 11th artillery and 65th mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed.
There are no changes in the Kherson direction, the destruction of the artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continues, and the enemy’s attempts to gain a foothold on the islands in the gray zone of the Dnieper are also suppressed.
