Ministry of Defense: Russian anti-aircraft gunners shot down a Su-27 fighter, a Mi-8 helicopter of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, intercepted two Storm Shadow missiles
Starting from May 30, the reports of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on hostilities in the Donetsk direction, which are conducted by assault groups of the Akhmat special forces detachment in the central part of Maryinka and units of the 1st Army Corps of the RF Armed Forces, attacking the enemy in the Avdiivka area. Thus, the rotation for the withdrawal of Wagner fighters from this sector and the acceptance of the zone of responsibility of the western sector of the Donetsk front by the Chechen special forces and regular units of the Russian army is fully confirmed.

Contradictory information is being received on the Zaporozhye direction, which is considered the most likely for an attempt to break through our defenses during the upcoming counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. One of the Russian military correspondents previously reported on the high activity of enemy artillery in this area and the alleged complete absence of counter-battery work by our artillerymen.
According to the Ministry of Defense, artillery and aviation of the RF Armed Forces worked out on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of seven settlements located in the Kharkiv region.
