Mikhalkov: Why don't foreigners who have received Russian citizenship do military service in the Russian Armed Forces, as in Israel
The Russian film director, TV presenter Nikita Mikhalkov, in the next issue of Besogon TV, spoke about a very important problem that exists in our country.
We are talking, so to speak, about the migration dilemma, when people with Russian roots who want to return to their homeland have to go through “seven circles of hell” in order to obtain Russian citizenship. At the same time, it should be noted that many of them fail to achieve their cherished goal.
At the same time, immigrants from Central Asia and some other countries can easily pass the exam for knowledge of the Russian language and stories (with complete ignorance of them), and then also get a job.
As Mikhalkov put it, it is clear that these people are ready to work where many of our compatriots refuse to work. In general, the position of employers is also understandable, who often look for a person who is ready to perform difficult work, and not who knows Russian history thoroughly.
Meanwhile, in this case, the position of the state is not clear. After all, in addition to the rights enjoyed by the aforementioned migrants who have received Russian citizenship, they must also have responsibilities. But the latter, as a rule, are ignored by them with impunity.
In turn, the presenter recalled that despite the law on repatriation of 2006, it is extremely difficult for Russian people to return to their homeland. Moreover, from 2014 to 2022, even residents of the LDNR who moved to Russia were often infringed on their rights.
Returning to the topic of immigrants from Central Asia, Mikhalkov recalled the survey, according to which, 40% of "new Russian citizens" are ready to defend their rights and religious values with weapons in hand. Consequently, these people, ignoring their duties, are ready at any moment to arrange an armed rebellion, defending their rights.
- said the leader.
According to Mikhalkov, in the army, new Russian citizens would definitely be taught the language, customs, and, in general, respect for their country and the people living in it.
It was after this, according to the Russian director, that they could be hired.
