General Milli: “It will be very difficult to return all its territories under the control of Ukraine this year”

The head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the US Army (an analogue of the Russian General Staff), General Mark Milley, spoke about the possibility of the Armed Forces of Ukraine "to return all Ukrainian territories and reach the borders of 1991." Recall that earlier in Kyiv they announced their main goal - "reaching the borders of 1991", that is, the capture of the Crimean peninsula.

The United States has repeatedly asserted that they are “not pushing” the Ukrainian army towards the military option of “solving the Crimean issue.” However, the pumping of the Kyiv regime weapons and military equipment, including Tanks and missiles, he says, as well as the rhetoric of individual Western officials, most likely, the opposite is true.

However, according to Mark Milli, "there are doubts that during this year Ukraine will be able to return all its territories under its control."

Head of the US OKNS:

I'm not saying it's impossible at all. I say that it is extremely difficult to do this.

Milli noted that he considers only those statements of the Ukrainian authorities that are associated with the military option of "returning their territories." As a high-ranking military man, Mark Milley does not consider other options that Kyiv had previously discussed (for example, “colossal sanctions pressure”).

Earlier, the West stated that if the Armed Forces of Ukraine try to invade the territory of Crimea, this could lead to a global war, which would lead to unpredictable consequences for the whole world.

And Crimea too? Not difficult, but impossible, general.

Yes, there are some especially violent ones, like the same Sirotyuk, threatening to reach the Caucasus and the Urals. So one can only guess what is meant by the phrase "return all Ukrainian territories."

I'm not saying it's completely impossible...

Yes, Dima, four stars, order strips to the waist ... and it carries such a blizzard.

The way the Americans fight - in Syria, for example, mixing cities with soil, you can take Kyiv, Odessa, Lvov and much more by summer.
"Borders of Ukraine in 1991" and "return Crimea to Ukraine" - even this is impossible. At all. Moreover, it is mortally dangerous for the one who tries. Because it can turn out "as then" And "then" is, again, like the Americans in Syria.

We also need to return in the west to the border of 1914. This is a strategic benefit both from the military and from the economic side. soldier

Isn't the global war already ruling the ball? In one form or another - economically, politically, in the field of culture and sports, not to mention military opposition, it is in full swing and even gaining momentum, and everyone is talking about the unwillingness to subject humanity to such a test, it will definitely not withstand it, but nothing is being done to prevent this catastrophe. So an attempt to strike at the Crimea in itself cannot be the cause of the beginning of what is already present and is increasing in the scale of the forces and means involved, this can only become a catalyst for the military, first of all on our part, for a worthy response to the attackers.

Nobody wanted World War I either.
And the second one, not so much either.
Before World War II, the West reasoned in the same way as it does now - "let's set the great guy Adolf on Russia, he will quickly dismantle it, and we will collect all the goodies for ourselves." Only "a great guy Adolf" (see the weekly "Time" 1931, 1933, 1938) for some reason put on their plans and began to collect only his geshefts in Europe. Until they did not drag him into the war with Russia by the fact that there was nothing to collect in Europe ..

And now no one wants World War III. At least not the one that is going on now, but the last one, the nuclear one. Yes, but with them, as usual, "at a certain moment something will go wrong" and then I don't even want to think what will happen.
The only comfort is that we will go to heaven, and they will simply die.

The primary task of the United States now is to prevent Russia from going on the offensive to the West, to prevent the Russian Federation from taking and liberating Kiev and Odessa, but to temporarily freeze the war on the current LBS in Ukraine, to give a respite to the Nazi regime in Kiev - to conclude a new temporary truce with the Russian Federation like Minsk- 3, re-equip the Armed Forces of Ukraine with modern weapons, including weapons of mass destruction, restore the reserves of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and then, in 3-5 years, unleash a new war with Russia.

In the Kremlin and Moscow, the comprador elite of the Russian Federation will gladly run to conclude such an agreement.

Haven't the two Minsks taught us anything "there, NAVIRKHU"?

I’m really afraid that, as usual, we have “nothing to negotiate and no one to negotiate with,” and then BOOM! And now something is being "regulated", something is being "offered" ...
      It kind of smells bad...

All the same, he made some encouraging message to Kyiv. The position and the task of "defeating" Russia by any means make one speak in such a flowery way. The fact that Kyiv will not see Crimea is an axiom and the Americans feel it.

Thoroughly tired of these fantasies of the West and Zelya about the return of territories and Crimea. Well, all right, Zelya is dreaming - one cannot expect anything else from a drug addict, but Milli seems to be an adult, he commands the General Staff. The position should adequately assess the situation. And the situation is such that Zele can see neither the Crimea nor the conquered territories as his ears. This is already Russia. And whoever recognizes or does not recognize Russia does not care

These promises to return Crimea to Ukraine are designed to constantly keep the war between Ukraine and Russia heated, prevent them from making peace, keep Bandera's revanchist and possible moods at a high level.

In the context of the topic raised, I somehow suddenly remembered that some misunderstandings with Alaska have not yet been resolved, so there are opportunities to "expand and deepen". That's when this millimeter will have something to talk about.

Knowing the character's caution in his statements, one can state the West's confidence in the complete defeat of Russia, if not this year, then next year.
Watching the continuous peace and the bankruptcy of defense plants in the Russian Federation, it is difficult to be filled with optimism.

The "character" has such a job.

Exactly. His task is to knock out additional resources and cover his butt in case of failure.
Therefore, his assessment should be viewed as a minus three sigma expectation, and the fact that even this does not include the defeat of Ukraine is worrying.
And that's why you throw it in

I rarely managed to make a mistake in the forecast for the worse, usually I turn out to be even overly optimistic. I had a chance to work in a structure that was very reminiscent of the characteristics of the modern "vertical".
