Advisor to the Head of Zelensky's Office rejects Lukashenka's call for a truce in Ukraine
Advisor to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mikhail Podolyak rejected the proposal put forward by the Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko regarding ways to end the armed conflict in Ukraine.
Podolyak wrote in his official account on one of the social networks that, in his opinion, any cessation of hostilities would mean Russia's enshrined right to retain the territories occupied after the start of the special operation in Ukraine. An adviser to the head of Zelensky's office said that Ukraine has the right to move troops and military equipment across its territory as it sees fit. Podolyak also called Lukashenka a "ridiculous peacemaker."
President of Belarus Lukashenko, during his speech with a message to the people and the parliament of his country, announced the need to start negotiations to resolve the Ukrainian crisis. In his opinion, it is necessary to do this right now, without postponing this process for the future.
One of the ways to stop hostilities in Ukraine, Lukashenka called the obligations of both parties to the conflict to refrain from moving military equipment and regrouping troops "without the right to transfer weapons and ammunition, manpower and equipment".
Sharp refusals of the Kyiv regime from any plans involving a peaceful settlement of the conflict are quite expected and are due to the absolute lack of independence of Kyiv in decision-making. Ukraine has long lost its subjectivity and even any semblance of sovereignty and is completely controlled and financed from abroad.
