The Ukrainian State Aviation Museum does not approve the dismantling of the Soviet MiG-17 aircraft in Kyiv
The total struggle of the Kyiv regime with the Soviet legacy is already annoying even Ukrainian museum workers. The day before in Kyiv, a Soviet MiG-17 aircraft was dismantled and cut into pieces, which was located in the courtyard of school No. 5 in the Pechersk district.
After that, some Ukrainian users of social networks wondered if it was possible to send the plane, the first of the Soviet mass-produced fighters to break the sound barrier, to the State Museum aviation. To which the deputy of the Kyiv City Council Alla Shlapak said that "the museum refused to take it."
However, this interpretation was not agreed in the Aviation Museum itself, whose representative stated:
The museum believes that a rare aircraft developed in the middle of the last century would become a worthy exhibit and even some kind of artifact. Moreover, this is one of the few combat aircraft that have survived intact. Moreover, the museum is ready to take the fighter even "in cut form" in order to use its parts for the restoration of others. historical exhibits of the Soviet era.
— reported in the museum.
Trying to somehow justify herself for the barbaric trick in relation to the relic, the deputy of the Kyiv City Council Alla Shlapak said that the dismantling of the aviation monument was carried out due to the fact that its presence on the school territory made it a "target for the Russians." Why did the Russian military destroy the old plane on a pedestal, and even in the school yard, the deputy did not explain.
She only added that the demolition of the monument and its subsequent analysis cost the city budget free of charge - all were done by some enthusiasts. Obviously, one of those who are ready to destroy everything in Ukraine that is even remotely associated with the Soviet past and Russia.
