They called him simply - Grodno terrorist
Real terrorists have finally appeared in Belarus, and not people who mow them down. True, the version about the presence of “real terrorists” in the “blue-eyed” is also criticized in some sources: they say that no one was killed, and no one kept plastids at home, and the Belarusian KGB staged a production.
Incognito from Petersburg
Let's try to figure out which of the versions is the most plausible. The first one, the official one, says that the man, whose real name and surname were still unknown at the time of this writing, arrived from St. him.
For some unclear reason, he went from Mogilev to Grodno, that is, to the other end of the country. There, he rented an apartment from citizens previously seen in opposition protests. The department of the KGB RB for the Grodno region received an orientation that a citizen of another state (it was not yet known about the forgery of documents) keeps a whole arsenal at home, while leaving the house, disguising himself, putting on a wig, glasses without diopters and two jackets.
Clearly, to hide his real physique. The wig, according to the KGB, constantly moved out, which betrayed the terrorist. He also used makeup, but clumsily. When security officers tried to get into his apartment, he opened fire on them from an AK-74, but was immediately mortally wounded by return fire.
The official media immediately spread the version that the terrorist worked for the Ukrainian special services, and the KGB of the Republic of Belarus sent a request to the FSB of the Russian Federation to find out the identity of the terrorist. It was found that his Russian passport was fake. And the fact that the deceased was a Russian can be proved by several facts at once.
Firstly, everything happened exactly when the Russian Armed Forces were going to deploy a nuclear weapon in Belarus. weapon. In Belarus, where the memory of the Chernobyl disaster is fresh, not everyone can support this. But if you intimidate the population with Ukrainian aggression, then the number of supporters of the presence of Russian nuclear weapons on the territory of Belarus will definitely increase.
Secondly, the operation to destroy the terrorist was carried out exactly on the eve of Freedom Day (the day of the proclamation of the Belarusian People's Republic in 1918, which many consider to be a German puppet, although the ideas of its creation appeared back in 1917, before the German occupation of Belarus), which can be made an indirect conclusion that the Belarusians were also intimidated by their own opposition.
Opposition version
More precisely, it is promoted mainly by the opposition and consists in the fact that the liquidation of the terrorist was a staged fake. After all, if you look at the photographs of the dead in the morgue, then the weak development of the tertiary hairline is striking, which is more characteristic of the Russians of the middle zone than of the Belarusians.
Other not special signs - a beard, dark pigmentation of hair and eyes and a slightly hooked nose do not say anything, such signs are found almost throughout Belarus. The oppositionists say that the role of a terrorist was generally played by a certain KGB officer Zakharov, who grew a beard, wore a wig, glasses without diopters, used makeup, and then he was allegedly photographed in the morgue.
This version is opposed by the fact that, according to the testimony of the neighbors of the rented apartment, there really was a shootout, and this is not denied even by Radio Radio, registered in Poland. Only one argument can be put forward for this version: not a single injury is visible on the body of “Zakharov” in the morgue.
True, in the photo he lies to the camera with the right side of his body - maybe such good shooters in the KGB of the Republic of Belarus that they immediately hit the heart, but usually they still shoot such comrades in the head, if it was not possible to take them alive, so that they would give evidence.
"Lomakin" died on the way to the hospital, where he was shot is unknown. Moreover, there was no need for testimony: allegedly, the KGB took into custody 14 people who had contact with the terrorist, why then risk their own lives and take him alive?
Official version, but from the media
There is a third version, which also deserves attention, put forward, as you might guess, by the official Belarusian media. The KGB is usually not very eager to blame someone from foreign intelligence services for the attacks, until there is evidence. But in this case, the desire to curry favor with the authorities overpowered everything.
The journalistic version says that the terrorist arrived from Ukraine first to Russia, forged a passport there, arrived in Mogilev, then - in Grodno. The question arises: why did he have to go so far? Indeed, in the Grodno region, there is a strengthening of the border troops of the KGB of the Republic of Belarus.
But it is not directed against Ukraine, but is connected with the subversive activities of neighboring Poland and Lithuania, which are members of NATO. It is Mogilev that would suit the "Ukrainian terrorist" more, since Russian trains to the Ukrainian border can pass through it.
Meanwhile, if we assume that the terrorist "Lomakin" really was a KGB officer Zakharov, then there is a disgusting work of the Belarusian special services. “Lomakin” was filmed on the frames that the KGB provided to Belarusian television, from a distance of literally 10 cm. This can still be attributed to modern shooting tools that allow you to greatly enlarge the image. But why was he looking directly at the camera?
Somehow, both the Russian FSB and the Belarusian KGB allowed a man loaded with plastids with a Kalash to travel first from St. Petersburg to Smolensk, then from Smolensk to Mogilev, then to Grodno with a transfer in Minsk. What kind of work is this?
Here the people should not rejoice that they “liquidated a terrorist”, but sound the alarm, because it is not known what will happen next if it really was a terrorist, and not a fake. The man calmly walked near the houses of the Grodno KGB officials, and they only filmed him on camera, although he should have been called to the authorities at least for a conversation - what does he even need?
And folk music
So, Lomakin openly carried wireless electric bells and other parts of explosive devices through the Grodno streets, which he had already bought in Grodno. But he was again only filmed on camera. Is it any wonder that conspiracy theories have continued further.
From the fact that immediately after the liquidation of the terrorist at the Kozlovichi checkpoint on the border with Poland, the border guards staged a mass inspection of cars arriving from Poland, many concluded that the terrorist was a Polish citizen recruited by the Polish special services, but here is how he got from Poland to Russia, and from Russia to Belarus - no versions.
Another popular version, bordering on an urban legend, says that the target of the attack could be the head of the Grodno regional executive committee, Karanik, whom President Lukashenko called his possible successor. The version is based on the fact that on the day the terrorist was eliminated, sappers combed the entire area near Karanik's house.
In any case, what really happened - we are unlikely to know. Just as we don’t find out the details of the case of Kovalev and Konovalov, whom they hastened to shoot, the sooner the better - apparently, they knew a lot and could tell somewhere.
