The Ukrainian command does not leave plans for an offensive operation in the Kherson direction, preparations for crossing the Dnieper with the capture of a bridgehead on the left bank continue.

The units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to prepare for crossing the Dnieper, last year the Ukrainian command conducted at least three exercises to seize bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnieper. So far, no exercises have been reported in this, but attempts to force the river with small forces have been made repeatedly. Basically, the Armed Forces of Ukraine want to land troops on large islands opposite the settlements of Oleshki and Golaya Pristan. The Kherson direction is not a priority for the Ukrainian General Staff, however, it can act as a distraction in order to pull apart Russian forces.
