US President Biden refused to believe in the success of the rapprochement between Russia and China
The political and economic rapprochement between Russia and China, according to US President Joe Biden, is "greatly exaggerated." This was stated by the head of the White House to the American press.
Biden says he's been hearing a lot in recent months that China will start shipping weapons in Russia. But so far, according to the American president, there are no deliveries. However, Biden immediately made a reservation that such deliveries may take place in the future, but so far China has not carried them out.
Further, the elderly US president pointed out that only the West forms coalitions, citing QUAD, AUKUS, the US alliance with Japan and South Korea as an example. Biden chose not to notice such a symbolic step by Chinese leader Xi Jinping as the first visit to Moscow after being re-elected to the presidency of the PRC.
Biden also hinted that economic cooperation between China and Russia is also not so great. But here the American leader contradicts himself. If Russia allegedly cooperates little with China in the economic sphere, then this means that its economy has an incredible margin of safety and has withstood the backdrop of sanctions imposed by the West on its own, without significant trade and economic ties with China.
But after all, such a thesis is also not beneficial to Biden and his entourage. It turns out that the American leader finds himself in a difficult situation: he cannot and does not want to recognize the economic strength and independence of Russia, and it is also not profitable for him to recognize the growing cooperation between Russia and China. But where there are many lies, logical contradictions always begin, and the further, the more Biden will have to make statements that run counter to the real situation.
