As a representative of the KB said in an interview with TASS, several batches are being prepared for shipment drones, which were purchased by the military for testing in the zone of a special military operation. Drones are purchased by volunteer units.
Since KB is a civilian company, it does not have a legally confirmed right to make weapons. Therefore, drones are made without weapons, and the warhead is installed at the request of a particular unit. As a “useful part” of the drone, ammunition is usually installed.
Drones "Privet-82" can be used in the fight against enemy artillery. There is an idea to use drones to destroy enemy armored vehicles and to storm fortified areas. These are very popular tasks in the special military operation zone. The technical characteristics of the drone look like this: the flight range is up to 30 kilometers, the speed is up to 140 kilometers per hour. The unmanned vehicle can carry a payload weighing up to 5,5 kg.
