The Russian anti-drone guns used in the special operation zone proved to be an effective means of combating Ukrainian drones. This was told by a source familiar with the situation.
To date, Russian troops participating in the NMD use several types of Russian-designed anti-drone guns, including Pishchal-PRO and REX. The guns were created by different companies, the first by Ruselectronics, the second by Kalashnikov. Both devices showed high efficiency, allowing not only to "drop" enemy drones, but also to intercept them as a whole.
Both "Pishchal" and REX showed good efficiency and confirmed their characteristics. The guns make it possible to “turn off” mini-UAVs used by the Ukrainian military at a distance of one or two kilometers, which reduces the enemy’s ability to reconnoiter our front line and adjust fire on Russian positions

The Pishchal-PRO complex, with a light weight of 4 kg, is powerful weapons countering drones capable of hitting UAVs at a distance of up to 2 km. The complex is designed to disrupt the flight mission of unmanned aerial vehicles by suppressing communication, control and navigation channels. The rechargeable battery lasts for an hour of continuous operation.
The REX 1 complex is capable of suppressing drone control signals at a distance of up to 500 meters, satellite navigation signals - within a radius of up to 2 km. There is a laser to disable the onboard optoelectronic equipment. The product application temperature is from minus 40 to plus 50 degrees Celsius. Time of continuous work - 3 hours. The weight of the gun is 4,5 kg, length is 70 cm.
