The source reported on the high efficiency of Russian anti-drone guns used in the NMD zone

The Russian anti-drone guns used in the special operation zone proved to be an effective means of combating Ukrainian drones. This was told by a source familiar with the situation.

To date, Russian troops participating in the NMD use several types of Russian-designed anti-drone guns, including Pishchal-PRO and REX. The guns were created by different companies, the first by Ruselectronics, the second by Kalashnikov. Both devices showed high efficiency, allowing not only to "drop" enemy drones, but also to intercept them as a whole.

Both "Pishchal" and REX showed good efficiency and confirmed their characteristics. The guns make it possible to “turn off” mini-UAVs used by the Ukrainian military at a distance of one or two kilometers, which reduces the enemy’s ability to reconnoiter our front line and adjust fire on Russian positions

- leads RIA News source words.

The Pishchal-PRO complex, with a light weight of 4 kg, is powerful weapons countering drones capable of hitting UAVs at a distance of up to 2 km. The complex is designed to disrupt the flight mission of unmanned aerial vehicles by suppressing communication, control and navigation channels. The rechargeable battery lasts for an hour of continuous operation.

The REX 1 complex is capable of suppressing drone control signals at a distance of up to 500 meters, satellite navigation signals - within a radius of up to 2 km. There is a laser to disable the onboard optoelectronic equipment. The product application temperature is from minus 40 to plus 50 degrees Celsius. Time of continuous work - 3 hours. The weight of the gun is 4,5 kg, length is 70 cm.

Advertising. We conducted tests with Chinese ones, no worse than these Russian Rostec ones, only cheaper. Truth and Rostec Chinese)))
I can refer to the tests of the military commander Andrey Filatov

A wretched man, having nothing to be proud of, grabs at the only thing possible and is proud of the nation to which he belongs.

Share, in relation to the representatives of which nation this remark was made and what do you mean by the word miserable? I share a different interpretation:

The news is good, but it is necessary that such guns be in every division of the front line, plus constant improvement and training of "hunters".

    It's a good news!
Only here the saturation in the troops will not be enough.
In fact, there should be such guns in every company, not to mention mini UAVs.

There is a video of the Ukronazis where our fighter uses an anti-drone gun.

If there is a video from the UAV, then the gun did not work.

The conclusion is not correct. FPV drones, and they are used there, transmit video in real time.

The drone operator sees a fighter aiming an incomprehensible weapon at him, and loses contact with the drone. That is the result of using an anti-drone gun.

If everything was as beautiful as it is written in the article, then we would have already watched 100500 video confirmations. Alas, it is not.

To use, you need to aim. In order to aim, you need to see. In order to see, you need to hear. Well, in general, you need good eyesight and good hearing.

Military correspondents write that Russian-made andi-drone guns have mediocre efficiency compared to Chinese ones, while they are several times more expensive. I would like to know the name of the "source familiar with the situation", otherwise it looks like an advertisement. To the credit of the Kalashnikov concern, they perceive criticism sensibly and improve their products, and do not use administrative resources to influence critics ...

Such a secret source? Or maybe it
the first by Ruselectronics, the second by Kalashnikov.

That's when the airmen will complain that their UAVs are massively out of order, then we can say about the effectiveness of the complex.

For two months of work - 21 planted hooded drones. According to the responses of the LPD-801 fighters, he landed drones where the Harpies did not work. It would be nice to add a detector to it, but there is no money yet.

looks like another custom-made PR action screwed up. on the issue of the effectiveness of anti-drone weapons, one can trust the opinion of the fighters using these tools on the front line.

Then, continuing your logical reasoning and long arms to grab it? In war (and even in civilian life), good eyesight and hearing are always preferable to myopia and hearing loss.

Without means of detection, these guns will not be able to work at the declared range. If there are, then mobility may be lost due to the need for constant communication with them.

Looking at the picture, I want to find fault: is it not solved with 12 gauge at such a distance? Alexander-3 sensibly observes what needs to be discovered in order to be applied. You can add: how many themes of the detectors and where do they have anti-rouge (with a battery for one hour)? And how is it with visual detection in the batch, despite the fact that fpv can observe the field and choose the path obviously better.
It seems to me that, first of all, it is necessary to saturate the line of contact with sensors / personal detectors. The collection of operational data can affect the awareness, and therefore the reaction of front-line assets, and not just one unit. In the future, the signals of the detectors can be combined for operational monitoring and counter-measures against the aerobatic team. Again, counter-measures are better automated, for example a tethered copter can see farther into the horizon and react faster over a larger area than a man with a gun in a trench.
By the way, the same Kalashnikov has a self-loading 12 caliber.

Interestingly, are there reconnaissance equipment for any drones? They constantly emit a signal in all directions. In any case, the drone will have a signal signature characteristic of this type of equipment in terms of power, direction and other parameters.
