Military experts assessed the significance of the liberation of the Dvurechnaya station by Russian troops in the Kharkiv region
There are reports from the Kharkov region about the success of the Russian army in the Kupyansk direction. According to the latest data, Russian troops, having inflicted a defeat on the enemy in the area of the village of Tavolzhanka, advanced westward and occupied Dvurechnaya station. Information about the liberation of this village is confirmed by official Russian sources.
However, there has been some confusion. The fact is that in this direction there are two geographical names Dvurechnaya (Dvurechnoye). The first is the railway station near the Tavolzhanka-Gryanikovka highway. And the second is the town of the same name. The key geographical difference is that the station is located on the left bank of the Oskol River, and the urban-type settlement is on the right.
Military experts assess the significance of the liberation of this settlement (station) by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
The main significance is that the railway was cut off for the enemy, which he used to transfer forces and means from Kupyansk to the Russian border (to the Belgorod region).
Also, the activation of the Russian army in this direction is noted, which indicates an advance to Kupyansk, an exit to the so-called Dolgoi Gai - a forest area in which enemy units dug in. When using TOS "Solntsepyok" and means of army and assault aviation targets on the ground are being hit, which are an obstacle to further advance towards Kupyansk.
Accordingly, the Ukrainian group, which for a long time unsuccessfully tried to break through the line of Russian defense along the Svatovo-Kremennaya line, may receive such a “nuisance” as the exit of the RF Armed Forces to the rear of at least its northern part with fire (and eventually physical) blocking of the most important route supplies.
