The Kyiv authorities continue to “put pressure” on their Western partners by any possible means, encouraging them to put the Armed Forces more weapons.
Thus, the deputy head of Zelensky’s office, Igor Zhovkva, told reporters from Bloomberg about the plight of the Ukrainian army in terms of weapons.
According to the politician, the fighting at the front is so intense that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have used up almost all the ammunition. As Zhovkva put it, the latter are “almost at zero” today.
In addition, the deputy head of Zelensky's office stressed that Ukraine is in desperate need of new arms supplies, including Tanks, howitzers and aircraft. The latter are allegedly needed to destroy Russian ballistic missiles.
By the way, about fighters. According to the politician, Ukraine will not have problems with long-term training of pilots capable of operating Western winged vehicles. As Zhovkva put it, these specialists may be ready by March, since, literally, the pilots of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are “very experienced”.
Finally, the deputy head of Zelensky's office added that the Armed Forces of Ukraine need long-range missiles. At the same time, he assured American journalists that if such ammunition is supplied, they will not be used on Russian territory.
Here it is worth recalling that the LDNR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, as well as Crimea in Ukraine, are not considered Russian territory.
