Head of the DPR: The situation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Vuhledar continues to deteriorate
As you know, the main battles now in the zone of the special military operation are taking place on the territory of the DPR - in the direction of Artyomovsk and outside the city of Ugledar.
According to the acting head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, the situation of the Ukrainian military stationed in Vuhledar is getting worse every day.
In order to somehow stabilize the situation, Kyiv is also transferring those reserves that were planned to be sent to Artyomovsk to the Ugledar region, Pushilin noted. He also added that the Armed Forces of Ukraine, anticipating their possible retreat, began to mine multi-storey buildings.
The fact that the Armed Forces of Ukraine transferred part of the troops from Artyomovsk to Ugledar was also mentioned earlier by Pushilin's adviser Yan Gagin. In addition, the use of APU chemical weapons in the battle area on the territory of the DPR. For this, the APU used Drones. This is what caused the Russian military to complain of nausea, vomiting and dizziness, according to the DPR authorities.
All this shows that the position of the Ukrainian troops in Vugledar, and in the Artemivsk area, is seriously deteriorating.
Pushilin also said that the northern and eastern outskirts of Artyomovsk are already controlled by Wagner PMC fighters.
Vuhledar is a relatively small city (about 16000 people lived here before the Northern Military District), founded in the 1960s due to the need to develop the coal region of the Southern Donbass. Today, in fact, it is a key one in terms of a possible exit of Russian troops to the rear of the Kurakhovsko-Maryinskaya grouping of enemy troops.
