Armed Forces of Ukraine are transferring part of the units from Artemovsk to Vugledar
Today, fighting is becoming more and more fierce in the NVO zone on the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic and, in particular, in the direction of the regional center of Artyomovsk (Bakhmut) and outside the city of Vugledar.
Probably, in Kyiv they decided that at this stage it is more important to defend Ugledar and that nothing threatens the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Artemivsk direction. How else to understand their decision to strengthen the grouping in Ugledar due to the transfer of forces from Artyomovsk.
According to Acting DPR adviser Jan Gagin, the Armed Forces of Ukraine transferred part of their troops from Artyomovsk to the Ugledar region, reports TASS.
The basis of the remaining groupings in the northern direction is the territorial defense battalions, some of which were withdrawn to the Ugoldar direction, trying to hold at least something
Gagin said.
Pushilin's adviser noted that the transferred units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine would have to face Russian marines and fighters of the Kaskad operational-combat tactical formation of the DPR near Vuhledar.
Recall that by the end of last month, Russian troops began active battles to capture Ugledar. A little earlier, they managed to take the city of Soledar, which is in the Artemovsky district of the DPR.
In Kyiv, they say that Moscow is preparing a major offensive by February 24th. The offensive of the Ukrainian troops, probably, should be expected with the arrival of the next Western weaponsIncluding Tanks. However, it is clear that this will not be until spring.
