The President of Poland promised to transfer to Ukraine a new batch of T-72 and PT-91 Twardy tanks

The Polish authorities decided to transfer the party to Ukraine tanks Soviet-made T-72 and Polish tanks PT-91 Twardy. This was stated by the President of Poland Andrzej Duda, speaking to journalists during his visit to Lithuania.

As Duda noted, now Poland is transferring German-made Leopard tanks to Ukraine in an amount sufficient to equip a tank company. But in addition to them, tanks of Soviet and Polish production will also be sent to Ukraine.

According to Duda, Poland has an upgraded version of the T-72 tanks, as well as Polish-made PT-91 Twardy tanks. The Polish president called these tanks good, high quality weapons, which can provide good support to Ukrainian troops on the battlefield. Duda noted that Warsaw sent a large amount of weapons and military equipment to Ukraine.

According to the Polish leader, more than 240 tanks, more than 100 armored vehicles, tens of thousands of machine guns, a huge amount of ammunition for various types of weapons have been handed over to Ukraine. Also, Ukraine was supplied with long-range Krab self-propelled howitzers, which were in service with the Polish Army, which is 50 kilometers.

In addition, the Polish Ministry of National Defense trains the personnel of Ukrainian formations. Duda is also silent about help in the form of mercenaries, who are represented by "vacationers" of the Polish army and former military men. According to Russian military correspondents, units of the Ukrainian armed forces almost completely staffed by Polish mercenaries are fighting in Donbass in many places on the front line.

Yes, the "conditional West" has an idea, IMHO, that in / in Ukraine everything has somehow dragged on, persuasion does not work, and it is necessary "according to the precepts of Stoltenberg" to cover up the story. Somewhere in 2023, there is nothing more to pull.

      Wait and see.

It is not clear from the news, is this a new batch of T72, in addition to the already promised "portion" for the brigade? And how many Tvarda?

Actually, their Tvardas are T-72s. As our old people said: "the same Marya in a sundress, but inside out"

Hmm, then the T90 is also somewhat T72.

IMHO, in fact, those two T72 variants that they had in reserve, they already gave to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Probably, for the Armed Forces of Ukraine they bought it somewhere from other people's reserves and / or "capitalized".

They do not have Tvards in reserve, but in combat units. It is strange that they are given away before the mass arrival of K2 and the Abrams. Maybe the Koreans or the US have accelerated?

the "new batch" is probably in excess of the promised "cats".

          Unclear.
Before Ramstein, the Poles just promised to assemble a brigade for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where T72s were among the BTs. Now they write that they will give 60 tanks, 30 of them Tvards. Perhaps we are talking about a brigade, where there will be 2 tank battalions.

Zalyuzhny said that to win, he needed: 300 tanks, about 500 armored personnel carriers and 120 Patriot installations.
      Ukraine was promised 350 tanks.
You can promise the moon from the sky.
Germany promises their "Leopard" somewhere in the fall, the Americans, Abrams, will be able to, somewhere next year

What are we waiting for, to strangle Poland and the Baltic dwarfs by all available economic and political means. Choke, choke and choke again. They should know that even a sidelong glance towards Russia will give them heartburn.

      And they know.
And the heartburn is so strong that everything Russian, from gas to TV, they have already taken out. They are already discussing whether to leave our ambassadors or recall all of them. They don't need anything from us. But we need, for example - transit to Kaliningrad or so that the Balts do not block the Gulf of Finland for us - and they can try, they will close 3 miles with the Finns and will inspect EVERYTHING.

We do not need this overland transit to Kaliningrad.
But what will they block there in the Baltic puddle? This is where the fleet will be needed, so that there are no overlaps in our thoughts. But I'm afraid our Baltic is no better than the Black Sea. And no one has canceled the maritime law yet. Turkey would also like to block everything, but cannot.
In the end, you can always say that in the event of an overlap, we will clear it using nuclear weapons. I think after such statements any overlap will end.

To be honest, one gets the impression that there will be no offensive by the RF Armed Forces. The task is to liberate the Donbass and keep the new territory, and then trade. And in February, Transnistria will be presented with an ultimatum or Europe or strangulation of the economy, sanctions, arrests for separatism.

In this way, it will soon be more profitable from Belarus not to prepare an army for the Lvov direction, but for naked Warsaw. And faster, and less losses.

Duck, the Poles have already opened the purse for as many as 250 tanks in July last year and ??? As they were cattle, they remained. I remember a German in Berlin who said that you Russians should not have signed an agreement in Warsaw in 1955 to organize the Warsaw Pact. It was necessary in Berlin and not to take the Poles. They will betray you. And so it happened. The German was wise. He fought as a private in the Wehrmacht ..

If we stop buying goods made in Poland or by Polish companies, could this have an impact on the Polish economy?
    Question about consumer goods.

I remember the words of Sergei Lavrov that, depending on the range of the supplied missiles, the enemy will be moved away by the appropriate distance so that it does not reach the territory of Russia. So you can again reach Berlin, and even more so to Warsaw. Dude should think about it, he has already made a mistake.
