Latvian Defense Minister Inara Murniece promised to supply Kyiv with a new batch of military aid, including helicopters

Latvia has decided to help Ukraine with weapons, the supply of a batch of military aid from the Latvian Ministry of Defense will be transferred to Kyiv after a meeting of NATO defense ministers at the Ramstein base in Germany on January 20, there are no more exact dates. This was stated by the Minister of Defense of Latvia Inara Murniece.

The head of the Latvian military department, along with his retinue, arrived in Kyiv, where she met with her Ukrainian counterpart Alexei Reznikov. The main topic of the meeting was strengthening the power of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, i.е. providing military assistance, as well as cooperation between the two countries in the military sphere. In a conversation, Murniece confirmed that Latvia would supply Ukraine with a batch of Stinger anti-aircraft missile systems, but after a meeting at the Ramstein base.

Also, the Latvian Minister of Defense promised to transfer to Kyiv Drones, machine guns along with ammunition and helicopters, no other details. Murniece reported about Stinger MANPADS and drones back in the first ten days of January, but it was said about helicopters for the first time. Even in Ukrainian publics there is no reliable information, only assumptions. It is worth noting that Latvia has already transferred helicopters to Ukraine, it was last August, when Kyiv received four rotorcraft: a pair of Mi-2s and a pair of Mi-17s, one of which needed capital. The equipment was donated free of charge.

Latvia is our good friend and ally, which has been supporting Ukraine in the fight against the Russian aggressor since the first days of the war

- Murniece Reznikov shook his hand for a long time, thanking for the yet untransmitted weapon.

It is worth noting that Latvia is not as active in providing military assistance to Ukraine as Lithuania, but it also supplies various weapons from time to time. In particular, the Latvian Ministry of Defense supplied Ukraine with six M109 self-propelled guns in the M109A5OE variant, small arms and ammunition, etc.

After the collapse of the Union, the Germans presented the Balts with former Gdrov deuces: the cars were already forty years old. Eights themselves acquired used, also far from fresh. How all this stuff was exploited is a separate story, but the Lithuanians in Kaunas have two repair plants. They were nimble at the amers when the equipment was driven to Afghanistan, and the Ukrainians retrained the amers in Kremenchug. I hope the broken deuce was also sold, out of sight ....

Mi2 was produced in Poland. But their production was discontinued in the 70s. So count it.

Of course, there are so many helicopters in Latvia that you can give Ukraine as a gift. These are apparently those helicopters that are still left from the Union and it’s time for them to landfill or for recycling

All this is already annoying every ride, and even provides military assistance. And this week they have become frequent. This is where our media needs to make efforts to blow all the pipes about arming the fascist regime and, accordingly, about bringing these ministers to account.

Well? Who else hasn't been to Kueva in the last year?!
Everything is clear with the "advertising agency" of this "tourist destination" - overseas interests are known.
But, I don’t believe that they act in isolation, without coordination with the domestic “travel agency” (MO, MFA, or higher, I don’t know).
    Can someone explain the situation?

Blimey! Mi-2 transferred ??? For what? So that the Chewbaks replenish their aeronautics museum with a couple more rarities?
PS. No, in no case do I have anything against the Mi-2! This is the legendary air UAZ ... but, damn it, fifty-sixty-year-old grandfathers in a modern war??? Xs...

Why do they have all the women in the defense ministers? What kind of "chip" is this? If my wife were made the Minister of Defense ... well, at least she fired pneumatics at the shooting range. And this one, I wonder, can shoot from pneumatics? And how does she defend herself? He scratches his face with claws ... or what, I'm embarrassed to ask ?!

The "Great Holy Inquisition" (WELL VERY HOLY!!!) in the Middle Ages, during the witch hunt, destroyed a lot of attractive women, declaring them witches (recall Esmeralda). Well, what do we have left: Lizka Trass, looking at whom, she is drawn to invite her into the gateway for a glass of port wine, this minister of defense from the Baltic tiger, strange women ... THEY want war with Russia. As the classic said: "it's a sin to laugh at ..." further down the text.
