For the first time, Bulgaria is preparing to send a military aid package to Ukraine. The country's parliament on Friday, December 9, approved the list of weapons and ammunition that will go to Kyiv. It is reported by Reuters.

The Bulgarian parliamentarians classified the list of military aid for Kyiv included in the first package, but noted that Ukraine is in vain waiting for the delivery of heavy weapons, aircraft or air defense systems, Sofia will certainly not transfer this. The first delivery will include a lung weapon and ammunition.

Bulgarian Defense Minister Dimitar Stoyanov is actively opposed to sending heavy weapons to Kyiv, stressing that his task is to ensure the security of Bulgaria, not Ukraine.
