Head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Reznikov: Armed Forces of Ukraine have adopted the Kolokol-AS command and control system

The Ukrainian military department announces the adoption by the Armed Forces of Ukraine of the latest digital command and control system Kolokol-AS. This was reported today, December 8, 2022, by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov.

According to the Ukrainian minister, at present, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense is faced with the task of reaching the forefront in the world in digitalizing the Ukrainian army, despite the "significant efforts" of Russia, which is trying to prevent this. As Reznikov stressed, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already adopted the Kolokol-AS automated control system, designed to control and manage military operations at a strategic, operational, and partly tactical level.

This system in the spring of 2022 successfully passed departmental tests, and subsequently - state ones. At present, all formal procedures have been completed, the strategic-level automated control system has officially joined the ranks and will work in the interests of the Armed Forces

- said Reznikov.

It is reported that Kolokol-AS can generate combat control documents in a semi-automatic and automatic mode, create and track cartographic information, receive data about its own troops, intelligence about the enemy, and also calculate the balance of forces and means based on the data received.

Reznikov did not stop there and said that in addition to Kolokol-AS, the Delta Integration Platform went for state tests, the Logfas NATO logistics improvement program, which has already been deployed to the brigade level, is being implemented, and Korovaj software has also been introduced to handle the needs of the army.

We are in close contact with our American partners and have recently demonstrated the results of the implementation of these systems. It is thanks to this that an unprecedented level of mutual trust is maintained, and all attempts by Ukraine's enemies to block supplies weapons remain futile

- added the Ukrainian minister.

Bander's "nettle" works well, now - "bell", but what do we have - something like that, a hyper-duper development "having no analogues", but it is absent in the army, as the 123rd stage of state tests and elimination of identified shortcomings...

It was within the framework of solving such problems within the walls of the All-Russian Research Institute "Signal" in the city of Kovrov, the old armory of the country, that a small-sized wearable complex for automating the control of artillery and mortar units (KSAU-MN) was recently created.

It would be better if they introduced an automatic system for counting their dead and missing ...

Tablets, I think, are standard. The main thing is to connect them to a secure network, connect them to the right software and common databases. In the Armed Forces of Ukraine, artillery and drones have long been united in a common network.
Works in "real time". "Nettle" seems to be called.
Now the logistics of deliveries, purchases, distribution of ammunition, weapons, food are being united into a common network.

Allow me to correct you - no, they are not united.
There are a number of artillery units and a number of "drone" units that can interact with each other through a common network.
You will be surprised, but there is such a thing in the Russian Federation.
But this is exactly what a certain percentage of all involved units.
You can argue about the percentage. But there is no general unification of something there into a common network in Ukraine.
        We too.

"There are a number of artillery units and a number of drone units ///
          ---
          Your info is outdated.
Nettles are used by 90-95 artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. About ten thousand tablets in the network. Many infantry units are also connected, and eng. troops.

            again
"In the Armed Forces of Ukraine, artillery and drones have long been united in a common network" - this is NOT equal to "90-95 artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine use nettles. About ten thousand tablets are in the network. Many infantry units and engineer troops are connected."

You understand that in the first sentence you said that ALL artillery and ALL drones are united in a common network, and then you contradict yourself, saying that only 90-95 percent of artillery is there.
            Where is the truth?
In addition, your information about 90-95 percent is, to put it mildly, bewildering.
Either the percentage is an order of magnitude smaller, or this connection itself does not mean anything, for example, the connection may mean that the client of "Krapiva" has information that there is art in his sector. It seems like there is a connection. But she makes no sense.
Do you have any links to your sources?

The task of the ukroreich is much simpler than ours. They just need to write a program for a ready-made hardware complex, ready-made communication channels. They do not need to create their own hardware, also on their own element base.

Most likely not to write, but to make localization on "move". Development and debugging "from scratch" is a very expensive and time-consuming process, and any carrier will translate to "mova", though there is a risk that the number of dialects of "mova" coincides with the number of its speakers, but when did this stop? wassat

In Ukraine, IT outsourcing is very developed, and there are no problems finding cheap (cheaper than in the USA) developers, and what to write and debug there, in itself, the task is not difficult, we would have developed and implemented this in Russia long ago if it were not for administrative barriers .

So ours also needs to act in the same way, there are no modern plis, dsp, DAC / ADC, etc., well, who prevented them from buying from with a margin of 20 years for 20 years, for that there would be UAVs and secure communications in the troops.

However, active digitalization of the Armed Forces continues.
In addition to the existing combined-arms ACS Krapiva and the universal air defense ACS Virazh - a tablet that has long been known (https://topwar.ru/196498-programma-asu-vsu-krapiva-v-chem-opasnost-ee-ispolzovanija-dlja -vojsk-rf-dnr-i-lnr.html) will now add the Bell, Delta and Loaf.
