It turned out that the downed Ukrainian pilot with the call sign of the Nazi Hartmann tried to “hunt” for drones
Ukrainian pilot Vadim Voroshilov, shot down the other day, was known as "a fighter against Iranian drones". It was for the UAV that he "hunted" on his fighter. At least, this is how he was represented by the media controlled by the Kyiv regime.
But, as it turned out, the pilot was also inspired by the examples of his colleagues eighty years ago - military pilots of Nazi Germany.
On the helmet of Vadim Voroshilov we see the word "Karaya". It was this call sign that the Nazi pilot Erich Hartmann had. Voroshilov himself, by the way, never hid his admiration for this Nazi character. He repeatedly stated that Hartmann was the most successful fighter pilot aviation during the Second World War, and, therefore, wants to imitate him. In terms of getting captured, too? Not yet, but anything can happen.
Erich Hartmann (1922-1993) is considered the most efficient aviator ever. history military aviation. He made 1404 sorties, scoring 352 air victories. The bulk of Hartmann's victories were made in air battles with Soviet pilots. At least, this is how the official Western interpretation sounds.
Until 1955, Hartmann was in Soviet captivity, then returned to Germany and became an Air Force pilot, also trained American pilots. He retired only in 1970.
As for the fact that Hartmann served in the Nazi Luftwaffe, Voroshilov justifies himself by saying that the pilot was a young man, apolitical, which he repeatedly emphasized in all his interviews. Hartmann's service in Hitler's aviation does not play too big a role for him, Voroshilov admitted.
By the way, the first thing the Ukrainian pilot did after his plane was shot down and after his ejection was his selfie - hanging on a parachute with a broken face.
According to some reports, the downed pilot of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was a Russian fighter missile.
