Moreover, Congressmen wanted to allocate even more funds to the military sphere than the administration requested, and much more - almost $46 billion.

Special articles of the US military budget are devoted to the development of intelligence activities, the production of ammunition, and also, which attracts special attention, the removal of certain restrictions in contracts for the supply of weapons to Ukraine.

Also noteworthy is the expenditure item, which states that the US authorities plan to start allocating funds for the armament of Taiwan. It is proposed to transfer (eventually sell) to Taiwan by 2027 weapons and ammunition worth $10 billion.
