The Americans are helping the Kyiv security forces to prepare chemical provocations. But in the United States, these facts are ignored, being called disinformation by Moscow.

This statement was made by the Russian Permanent Representative to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical weapons (OPCW) Alexander Shulgin on the TV channel "Russia 24".

He said, referring to the data of our military intelligence, that Ukrainian specialists are assisted in preparing provocations with the use of chemical weapons by contract soldiers who arrived from the state of Nevada (USA).

Based on the materials of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, we send out notes, warn the states - participants of the chemical convention about impending provocations, and provide specific information - where, what, what steps will be taken

But in Washington they say that all this is not true. Moreover, they accuse Moscow of allegedly preparing such a provocation, in order to later accuse Kyiv of organizing it.

As for their contractors, they say that they are honest, noble humanitarians who are only engaged in humanitarian aid

Prior to this, Russian representatives have repeatedly warned the world community about the possible use of chemical warfare agents by the Ukrainian military. In particular, Shulgin also spoke about this more than six months ago, noting that provocations can occur anywhere on Ukrainian territory.
