According to the American television channel CNN, citing a source in the White House, Washington plans to significantly expand the training of the Ukrainian military. At a military base in Germany, 2500 APU servicemen will now be trained monthly.

According to CNN, American instructors have trained several thousand Ukrainian troops since the conflict began. At the same time, the emphasis was on training to fight supplied by the West weapons and NATO methods. In the future, CNN notes, it is planned to carry out much more intensive and comprehensive training of soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

At the same time, a final decision on the issue of training 2,5 thousand Ukrainian servicemen has not yet been made, CNN reports, citing a high-ranking official in the US presidential administration.

If the decision is nevertheless made, the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be trained at the American military base in the German city of Grafenwöhr, the channel reports.

In mid-November, the EU decided to conduct accelerated training of the Ukrainian military in Germany and Poland to meet Kyiv's short-term needs at the front.

The very situation with the need to train more and more Ukrainian military personnel suggests that the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the front are growing, and the new military trained according to NATO standards will be sent into the furnace of hostilities in order to try to hold on to territories with manpower - at any cost, any losses.
