Poland once again called for the deployment of US nuclear weapons on its territory
Poland called for the deployment of nuclear weapons on its territory weapons, preferably American. Jarosław Kaczynski, leader of the ruling Law and Justice party in Poland, said that the republic plans to join the NATO Nuclear Sharing program.
Kaczynski supported the proposal for Poland to join the Nuclear Sharing program. Participants in the program deploy and store American nuclear weapons on their territory. Countries that do not have their own nuclear arsenal receive the right not only to place it on their territory, but also to participate in exercises on its use and planning.
This is the program Poland wants to join in order to gain access to American nuclear bombs. Moreover, President Andrzej Duda is also in favor of deploying nuclear weapons on Polish territory. However, the question is not so simple, Poland has already addressed the Americans with this question several times, but each time it was refused. According to Kaczynski, he does not know how things are now with this program, but if Washington gives the go-ahead, then he is in favor with both hands.
- he said.
In June of this year, a member of the European Parliament, former Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski called on the West, primarily the United States, to arm the Kyiv regime with nuclear weapons. In his opinion, several nuclear warheads could strengthen the defense capability of Ukraine and guarantee "protection from Russia."
