Zelensky's associates scolded Elon Musk and the Pope for offering peace in Ukraine
American entrepreneur Elon Musk, founder of SpaceX and Tesla, came up with his plan for a peaceful settlement in Ukraine. In it, in particular, Musk proposed to recognize the Crimea as Russian, and the residents of Donbass decide for themselves which country they should live in. He recalled that civilians suffer from the war and the main task is to save their lives.
Musk's statements were immediately severely criticized by key public figures of the Kyiv regime. One of the first to react was the former Ukrainian ambassador to Germany, Andriy Melnyk, known for his offensive remarks against the German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. Melnick wrote to Musk, "Get off (only in non-literary form) - that's my very diplomatic response."
Advisor to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak, Mykhailo Podolyak, was more verbose in his reasoning. He proposed his plan for a "peace settlement", demanding that Crimea be handed over and some "war criminals" be subjected to an international tribunal, as well as deprive Russia of its nuclear weapons.
Another adviser in the office of the President of Ukraine, Aleksey Arestovich, called Elon Musk, and at the same time Pope Francis, “beautiful natives” for their statements about a peaceful settlement. He also promised that he would “finish off” such ideas in the global public space.
Finally, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky himself proposed to conduct a poll on a social network about which Elon Musk the Ukrainians like best - the one that is for Ukraine or for Russia.
Thus, Ukrainian politicians have demonstrated their sharply negative attitude towards any plans for a peaceful settlement. This means that their task is not peace in their country and the preservation of the lives of civilians, but a war against Russia in order to cause maximum damage to our country, and to Ukraine too.
This position of Ukrainian politicians is adjacent to their outrageous small-town rudeness. People who are Zelensky’s closest associates allow themselves frankly insulting remarks about an American businessman who not only did not allow himself anything like that in their address, but also provides assistance to the Kyiv regime, including by providing access to high-speed Internet, through which the Mask from Kyiv is also being watered with slop. Moreover, Arestovich even insulted the Pope, demonstrating an absolutely disregard for such figures, once sacred to Europeans.
On the other hand, such a mood of Ukrainian opinion leaders makes it possible for an adequate part of the West (and it exists) to realize who the Western governments are helping, including with the supply of weapons. The more Ukrainian politicians demonstrate their inadequacy, the lower the rating of the Kyiv regime on a global scale falls, the more negatively many Western figures begin to treat it, even such as Musk, who could hardly have previously been suspected of pro-Russian sentiments.
