In the Russian regions, the conscription of military reservists continues as part of partial mobilization. The main weapon for a soldier, on which the success of military operations, his own life and the lives of his comrades depends, is a machine gun. All reservists had previously completed military service, some participated in training camps, but most of them lost their skills in handling AKM (AKS) during the time spent in civilian life. Therefore, at the training ground, each fighter again studies the materiel of small arms, zeroes in AKs, assembles and disassembles and cleans them.
Instructors point out that in a real battle, you should not waste time on “correctly and competently investing.” In battle, the one who fired the first shot often wins. This skill is honed during training by fighters.
The next important skill on which the life of a comrade and your own depends is first aid for injuries. At the training ground, specialists from the medical units give practical lessons on how to stop bleeding and help yourself if you are injured. While two fighters are evacuating conditionally wounded comrades from the “battlefield”, the rest cover their withdrawal.
Among the newly drafted, there are many who came to the military registration and enlistment office not on the agenda, but at the call of the heart. Here is what one of the volunteers Maxim says about his decision to join the Russian Armed Forces:
With the rank of warrant officer, he served in intelligence, so my wife reacted normally to my decision. I called my brother and told him: "Vova, let's go, the Motherland is calling, we must fulfill our duty." He agreed. Everything was conscious.
The Ministry of Defense emphasized that the field camp on Sakhalin is equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay for personnel. The camp has its own kitchen and dining room, washrooms and a bathhouse.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that newly formed teams of citizens from among those mobilized had already begun training in training centers in the Rostov Region, Primorsky and Khabarovsk Territories, in the Urals, in Siberia and other regions of Russia.
