The work of our assault groups in Pervomaisky, west of the village of Peski, cuts through the enemy’s defense line Krasnogorovka-Avdeevka
The Ukrainian General Staff has published a new summary of events in various areas of combat operations. Having ceased to declare that Ukrainian troops are “fighting for the village of Pesky”, in view of the fact that this village has been under the control of the Russian army and the forces of the DPR for several days now, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is moving to cover what is already happening to the west and south of Pesky .
In fact, the report of the Ukrainian command confirms the information that our troops have expanded the bridgehead in the area of the mentioned village, reaching the settlements of Lozovoe and Pervomayskoye.
From the summary of the Ukrainian General Staff:
Pervomayskoye is a large village west of Pesok, from which a road opens through Netailovo to Karlivka, which is still under Ukrainian control.
The work of Russian assault groups in Pervomaisky, near the Karlovsky reservoir, cuts through the enemy’s defense line on the fortified Krasnogorovka-Avdeevka axis. A few weeks ago, the key link in this line was the village of Peski, but after losing it, Ukrainian troops were forced to retreat to the west with losses. The expansion of the bridgehead in the Pesok area by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the People's Militia units makes it possible to reduce the likelihood of strikes from the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the flanks of our troops, and at the same time to disrupt the coordination of enemy actions at the mentioned line of defense.
At the same time, our troops are conducting offensive operations in the quarters of Maryinka. At the moment, about 60% of this settlement, from where the Petrovsky district of Donetsk is systematically shelled, has come under the control of the NM DPR. Attacks on the positions of the armed forces of Ukraine are carried out, including with the help of the army aviation, as well as with the help of corrected artillery ammunition.
