From the Thai side, five aircraft of the Royal Air Force Gripen, three Alphajet attack aircraft and a SAAB 340 AEW AWACS aircraft will be involved in the exercises.
The Udorn air base in the north of the country near the Thai-Lao border was chosen as the site for the maneuvers.
The scenario of the exercise involves training in support of ground operations by air forces, strikes against ground targets and the formation aviation groups.
And this week, the exercises of the PLA naval forces near Taiwan ended. But the air force and navy continue to patrol the sea and the airspace around the island.
