This happens to everyone, but the American case, due to the dirty tricks that the United States is doing in the world, does not cause sympathy, rather the opposite.

In the early 70s, he worked in the area of the Nantucket lighthouse (Georges Bank) on the BMRT, a US patrol plane with two pilots fell into the water next to us. They quickly lowered the boat, and when they approached, the plane began to sink, my boatswain Valerka jumped into the water and pulled out one pilot, the second died. Captain , me and Valerka received a commendation from the US Coast Guard. We were just human and did our best.

An act worthy of respect, a real sailor at sea, will not leave the helpless in trouble.

A worthy deed, especially for Soviet sailors!

But one should not lose sight of the fact that at that time relations between the USSR and the USA were not as strained as they are today.

But Americans are Americans and they never forget their habits of hurting someone or provoking something.

Why didn't the pilot eject? Possibly passed out due to overload.

Anything is possible ... But, most likely, a pilot error on super small ones. Or technology failure...

I would like to condole ... But it does not work sincerely.
Maybe just one plane with a pilot is not enough? It would be nice to check your feelings ....

Yes? Good. A hundred days ago I would have sympathized with the family, remaining indifferent to the death of the unknown "Jimmy". Rejoiced today. Minus one + technique.
