The head of European diplomacy Borrell acknowledged the depletion of stocks of weapons in the EU due to the supply of weapons to Ukraine

The European Union lost its main stocks of military equipment, this was due to the support of Ukraine, within which the EU supplies weapon Kyiv. This was stated by the head of European diplomacy Josep Borrell.
According to the European politician, the European Union is largely dependent on the United States, so Europe needs to organize its own armed forces, which would be relatively independent of NATO. He stressed that the European Union needs to become more independent in the field of its own security and rely less on outside help. In other words, to increase defense spending within the EU and coordinate their actions in the field of collective defense.
It was precisely the dependence on the United States that Borrell called the reason for the depletion of weapons stocks in Europe, since the European military-industrial complex is not as highly developed as it should be. As recent events in Ukraine have shown, the supply of weapons to Kyiv has literally depleted the available stocks, which are very difficult to replenish.
The depletion of supplies as a result of the military support we have provided to Ukraine is the most obvious example of our shortcomings.
- he said.
It should be noted that with the start of a special military operation in Ukraine, the rhetoric of European politicians changed instantly, most of them are in favor of a military solution to the conflict, and Russia must lose. The supply of weapons to the Kyiv regime should prevent Russia from winning in the NVO. Europe has already allocated 2 billion euros of gratuitous assistance to Kyiv, which went to purchase weapons. Both Washington and Brussels are ready to fight Russia to the last Ukrainian.
