The reconnaissance and sabotage activities of the Ukrainian special services were suppressed on the territory of Russia, the FSB officers managed to identify and detain two agents of the SBU and one agent of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. This is stated in the message of the FSB DSP.

According to the report, two agents working for the SBU were detained in Russia. As it turned out, a father and son named Koval were recruited by an SBU officer in the Ternopil region, Colonel Kovalik, with the task of collecting information about strategic objects. For the information provided, the curator promised a monetary reward in the amount of 10 thousand US dollars.

These persons arrived in Russia by car, took photographs and videos of life support facilities and transport infrastructure, and collected information. After the arrest, evidence of intelligence activity was found in the car, weapon... SBU agents confessed.

An agent of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, sent to the territory of Russia to prepare a terrorist act, was also detained. It turned out to be a resident of the Kiev region Tsilyk Alexander, born in 1998, recruited by Lieutenant Colonel Kirilovets - the head of the sector - an employee of the operational group of the operational department of the Special Reserve of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian agent was detained after the second illegal crossing of the Russian border; on the first, he made a cache, where he kept everything necessary for carrying out a terrorist act. At the time of the arrest, he was carrying an improvised explosive device weighing 1,5 kg in TNT equivalent. Tsilyk confessed.

Criminal cases have been initiated against all detainees, additional investigative and operational measures are being taken to establish all the circumstances.
