Russian military bases in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan will receive new modern communication systems that will allow the exchange of digital information and maintain secure communications even in mountainous areas. The 201st military base in Tajikistan will receive the first update of communication systems; the supply of equipment and systems is planned to be completed by the end of this year. It is emphasized that the base will completely update the communication systems, i.e. In addition to the communications battalion, other units will also receive new equipment. The re-equipment of the Kant airbase is planned for next year, where new communication systems will be added to ground equipment and radio stations, providing information exchange with aviation.
As reported "News" With reference to military sources, both bases will be supplied with new command and staff vehicles, satellite and radio relay stations, as well as hardware. According to available data, the military will receive R-441LM satellite communication stations and R-419LM1 radio relay stations, P-243 complex hardware communications, and R-149MA command and staff vehicles.
