A whole arsenal of unaccounted for weapons and ammunition were found by employees of the State Bureau of Investigation of Ukraine (SBI) in one of the villages of the Donetsk region on the territory controlled by Kiev. This was reported on the official website of the RRB.

According to the disseminated information, a camouflaged warehouse with unaccounted weapons was located in the village of Tonenkoye near Avdiivka near the demarcation line, on the territory of the base where the patrol company of the national special police "Kryvbas" is located, which arrived in Donbass from the Dnipropetrovsk region.

According to available information from the RRB, the persons who set up the warehouse planned to take out weapons and ammunition to another region of Ukraine for resale. Despite such a statement, it is more believed in the option of selling the entire arsenal to the other side of the contact line before leaving home. And there is less risk and there is no need to drag anything with unclear sales prospects. Although the option is also possible with the preparation of weapons for some kind of performances or protests. However, the official version says something completely different.

Judging by the inventory compiled by the SBI officers, the following were seized from the illegal warehouse: 178 grenade launchers of various modifications, 89 grenade launchers, 336 various hand grenades, 329 grenade fuses and about 56 thousand pieces of ammunition of various calibers, not counting smoke bombs.

The RRB is currently trying to establish who owned the arsenal of unreported weapons, their origins, etc. In case of identification of the person or persons who arranged all this, they face up to 7 years in prison.
