Soviet drones Tu-141 Strizh and Tu-143 Reis were used as targets in the air defense exercises of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

One of the scenarios of the Ukrainian maneuvers "United Efforts - 2021" was to repel a simultaneous massive air attack by enemy aircraft and cruise missiles on strategic targets. They were carried out at the Yagorlyk training ground in the Kherson region.

This is reported by the command of the Air Force of Ukraine.

In training launches of guided anti-aircraft missiles, combat crews of the S-300, Osa, Buk-M1 and S-125 air defense systems were involved. Su-25 attack aircraft, Su-27 and MiG-29 fighters, as well as Soviet drones Tu-141 "Strizh" and Tu-143 "Flight", which are part of the unmanned systems VR-2 and VR-3.

As the commander of the Ukrainian anti-aircraft missile forces Boris Genov said, an environment was created in the sky that simulates a massive attack of cruise missiles and aviation enemy. It is noted that the air defense calculations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have successfully coped with the assigned tasks. At this stage, the launches were imitation, and at the next stage, the firing of combat guided anti-aircraft missiles was provided.

Tu-141 "Strizh" and Tu-143 "Strizh" is a reusable Soviet operational-tactical unmanned aerial vehicle developed by the Tupolev Design Bureau. The difference between the two drones lies in their range. If the first one can overcome several hundred kilometers, then for the second the limit is several tens of kilometers.

It is surprising that they are still in working order in Ukraine. I have not seen information about their availability with us. Who knows?

I'm more interested in the state of the Luhansk Aviation Museum in the LPR! For a long time there was no information about it ... As for the Tu-141/143 in Russia ... it is unlikely that they survived in service! It was said about the Tu-141 that they are no longer there ... about the Tu-143, that there was a certain amount in 2016 ...

askort154 ...It's amazing that they are still preserved in Ukraine.

      I found something. Tu-143 "Flight" was produced in Kumertau until 1989, a total of 950 units were produced. G max = 1230 kg. Vкрс = 950 km / h, Н max = 1000m, Тpol = 13min.

A Tu-141 "Strizh" was produced in Kharkov until 1989. Only 152 units.
      Gmax = 5370 kg. Vmax = 1110 km / h. Lmax = 1000 km.

As far as I heard, it could carry various reconnaissance photographic and television equipment, and even with a certain refinement, operational-tactical nuclear warheads of low power. This is how military equipment was made in the USSR with high quality and thoughtfulness - for thirty years the country has not been there, and weapons are still used, and successfully.

In general, I wonder what the news is? Did the skakuass use old targets rather than throw them away and create new ones? And who is doing wrong?

In my city, at every market - vegetable, car market and others, there are ZILs
130th, loaded with sawn wood from the mountain. Looks great with rows of cylinders
(on gas). The "woodcutters" now have a good time - the people are preparing for the winter, and gas is not in all settlements.
is, and it is expensive. This is what I have not seen for a long time, that is the 555th, a dump truck with a "round"
        body.

I saw this one yesterday too, the water utility with its "diggers" arrived on a rush.
In KUNG there is a workbench and three tons of all kinds of iron. I wonder if they howl that the poor
raised water tariffs to the skies.

There are still a lot of quite vigorous zidki in the villages, the lawns are half past three, ants and a motorcycle chassis with manure, firewood, and even with a mower or rake, tedders are running around.
Where do they get spare parts for them ... All this is 30-40 years old, you see, not a bad technique was made in the USSR. But no harvesters were left intact.

If the air defense launches were conditional, then were the target launches also conditional? Or did they launch Tushki all the same?
But why did I remember that childhood:
    "Tra-ta-ta-ta-ta. You're killed!" recourse

      Let it out.
But if the launches are imitation, then what's the difference? The plane took off, flew, lit up on the radars and returned home alive and well. At the same time, the pilots trained.

"... the firing of combat guided anti-aircraft missiles is envisaged." - from this, then the hair moves: as in Ukraine, combat launches of missiles begin - either they will shoot their ship, then the flight to Israel will be shot down
