Turkey introduced additional military contingent to Syria

48

The Turkish Ministry of Defense has deployed additional forces to Syria. As Bloomberg writes, Ankara intends to strengthen its position ahead of negotiations with Moscow and Tehran.

According to the publication, Turkey fears that the Syrian leader Assad will nevertheless fulfill his promise and attack the last hotbed of resistance in the province of Ildib, which, in turn, will lead to a new stream of refugees rushing to Turkish territory. Ankara really does not want to accept new crowds fleeing from the territory of Syria, so they will take all measures to prevent Assad's victory.

To this end, additional forces have been introduced into Syrian territory to prevent military clashes in Idlib. On the other hand, the actions of the Russian aviation in Syria and government forces are not like preparing for an offensive. But Erdogan, who is to visit Moscow for talks with Putin, decided to play it safe.

Erdogan will certainly raise the topic of aggravation of the situation in Idlib at the talks, assure Turkish officials familiar with the situation. In the meantime, the deployed military will not allow the Syrian troops to advance. It is not specified how many Turkish troops were additionally brought into Syria, but according to one of the officials there are "thousands" of them there.

It is noted that the situation in the province has remained practically unchanged since March 2020, when a ceasefire was introduced on its territory, which stopped the offensive of the Syrian army. At the same time, Bashar al-Assad intends to win complete victory in the protracted civil war. At the same time, he directly says that the Turkish troops need to leave the territory of Syria, just like the American ones. However, Erdogan's actions indicate that the Turks do not intend to leave Syria.

Refugees are only a cover for Turkey's claims to influence in the regions, which it considers "natively Turkish".

There is little coverage in the media, because Afghan and Amerosram overshadowed everything, but a cleanup of the province (governorate) of Daraa is underway. An iconic place where the Syrian uprising began. Again, the rags are taken to Turkish Idlib, where the Turks begin to have problems and everything is approaching a cleanup. And Bashar came to the Supreme and began hints, they say, it's time for the invaders to get out, so Recep hysteria. Nothing, he asked for the Supreme, they will shake it down. Well, why ... Obviously, the Turks were hysterical with Idlib. Several thousand barmayevs were thrown there from Dariaa, and even the troops were freed ... 4000 professional, trained, rested troops, and 300 armored vehicles? Plus what happened there with fortified areas, checkpoints. Under the cover of UAVs and Turkish aviation ... Well, yes, they will not solve anything at all. When joining a power battle, SAR rubbed a bunch of equipment, and Bayraktars beat tanks and other equipment to choose from. Regarding Turkey, it is inactive, remember how many "daggers in the back" and Erdogan got away with it, but that's okay, the saddest thing is that Turkey is wringing out the zone of influence in the Caucasus from Russia (Georgia, Azerbaijan + the countries of the Turkic world) and this is very serious, it selects markets, where we used to supply our products ... and then there is Syria, Libya, African countries, etc. where Turkey is fighting with us for zones of influence and we cannot close our eyes to this, but unfortunately the Kremlin has a different opinion and so far no active actions against the "partner" are visible.

Erdogan got away with it, but the ruling caste of Kemalists is gone. It was destroyed by Erdogan's hands. There, tens of thousands were tortured in dungeons. And hundreds of thousands have been put aside. Which zone has Turkey wrested from Russia? Georgia? Was she pro-Russian? But we have won back Abkhazia and South Ossetia. Having gained control of the Greater Caucasus and putting boots on the Small, for the Roki tunnel leads there. And what the Turks in Adjara are stirring up, yes, do not care. In comparison with the sea bridgehead behind the ridge, it does not mean anything. And there are no Turkish troops in Adjara. and there are Russian bases in Abkhazia and Ossetia. Azerbaijan? And who controls Karabakh now? Whose troops? Turkish? No, Russians. Are there Turks? No. Well, there are advisers, the attaché does not count. Have you fumbled us from Armenia? No. The Turkish threat also helped prevent rotation to the NATO base. Where are the Turks? In Afrin and Idlib, that's all. And then, the pies will burn. What markets? If the Turks themselves buy goods from us with a huge surplus in our favor. The trade turnover is 21 billion a year, but we sell them for 16, and buy for 5 billion of the RF's net profit from Turkey. In Libya, it is not sweet there for the pro-Turkish, there the Egyptians have already said a weighty word. In Afghanistan, Pan-Turkism is a disaster. Everybody there. Yok, he's gone. But the threat of the Taliban throws the Central Asian republics into the arms of Russia, not Turkey. The CSTO is now a beacon for them. Only thanks to the alliance with Erdogan, Russia was able to transform the killed South Stream into a Turkish one. Thanks to this alliance, the Syrian Express worked and Russia cleared 11% of Syria and destroyed the Caliphate. Thanks to the alliance with Erdogan, Russia was not fumbled with Armenia, so it also took Karabakh. Leave the showdown with Erdogan to Putin, they will figure it out.

Well, look, Georgia was once in our zone of influence, now it is under the Turks - a fact, Azerbaijan is pro-Turkish and far from pro-Russian, that is, in the Turkish zone of influence, what markets? Markets of the CIS countries, Turkey is a competitor of Russia in the military-industrial complex and not only, there is also competition for African countries - for contracts for the extraction of minerals, contracts for security, etc. you can still write a lot here, but now I am writing from the phone and I do not want to enter into a discussion :) I understand your point of view, but I do not share ... that is, in my understanding, Turkey is far from a friend, but a competitor, and if we also take NATO membership and pumping weapons into Ukraine into account (and it will be used, against us) is a real enemy.

And until the Kurds begin to pinch for the present, they will remain outside the control of Damascus, and therefore the oil-bearing provinces will remain under the control of the Americans.
