I could once again write "I am Mi 8 (I am back)" from Nikolai Anisimov, but I will not. You already know everything. Our technique is the best.

The Chinese have not learned how to copy MI 8 yet. Probably, as always, a problem with engines

Well, I think you won’t have to wait long, and they will copy and build and start pushing around the world.

Once, China has already signed a contract for the supply of Tu-204 aircraft (or 20 aircraft, or more). They got the first and refused the contract. Make an analogue at home. The Chinese are not shy about stealing intellectual property. Their laws allow them to do this, but they don’t give a damn about the global laws. I'm afraid it will be the same with turntables!

the first time a cadet familiarizedly flew MI-8 in 1966, the feeling was like in a taxi, the old man was holding on, getting younger, being updated, the car was what it needed.

Somehow this topic has already been. Then one person from Ukraine shouted that this was a purely Ukrainian development. And we ourselves have nothing.

Well, not bad, it seems that copy protection is being discussed in contracts with China (so that the same navigation system would not be copied).

As the hero of the famous movie said: "I am tormented by vague doubts." This is about the rosy mood that is present in the messages about cooperation with China.

MI-8 delivered a lot to China. If they wanted, they would have already copied for a long time. This is not the first delivery. Probably something did not work for them to copy. They could buy engines in Ukraine too. It’s probably not about the engine.
