In Ukraine, they found a possible replacement for the legendary GAZ-66 car, the famous "Shishige". At the exhibition "KievWeapon and security-2019 "Ukrainian state-owned corporation Bogdan presented a new military truck Bogdan-3355.
According to Ukrainian media, the Bogdan Motors Cherkasy plant presented its own development at the exhibition - the Bogdan-3355 4X4 truck, which, according to the developers, can replace the outdated Soviet GAZ-66 car, since it is close to it in terms of performance. According to the information provided by the manufacturer, the Bogdan-3355 truck was developed on the basis of the Hyundai HD55S and has a unified cab for three people. In the back of the truck can accommodate another 23 person.
The declared characteristics: length - 6055 mm, width - 2300 mm, heights - 2700 mm. Wheelbase - 3380 mm. The curb weight of the vehicle is 3 tons, and the payload is 2 tons. A D4DC diesel engine with a volume of 3,9 l and 120 horsepower was installed. Box - manual, 5-speed, there is an 2-speed transfer case with a lowered row. Speed on the highway is 90 km / h, range is 500 km, fuel consumption is declared in 19 l / 100 km.
At the moment, it is not known whether the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine will purchase this truck in order to close the car niche that Shishiga previously occupied. There is also no data on the cost of the truck and plans for its serial production.
