The destruction of a minibus by a Polish kamikaze drone is shown

The Polish company MPS has published a presentation video of its new drone-kamikaze. The footage shows how a promising loitering Polish ammunition, first presented at an exhibition in Abu Dhabi in February 2019, destroys a minibus.

A video posted by the Polish company MPS appeared on social networks. It shows the new Giez Warble Fly kamikaze drone. The footage shows a group of two fighters unpacking a launcher in the form of a tube with an emphasis, similar to a mortar, and firing barrage of ammunition. In turn, he hits the target in the form of a minibus.

Barrage ammunition is one of the most promising areas of unmanned aviation. The drone is able to track the target for many hours, detecting, identifying and hitting it, and if the object cannot be detected, return to the base.

The Polish apparatus differs from many other similar complexes by the presence of a replaceable warhead, there are five different options to choose from, as well as a convenient training combat unit. In particular, there is a fragmentation (anti-personnel and anti-tank) warhead, volume-detonating, blank and training version.

The drone is launched from a special tube. The flight speed is 150 km / h, the flight range is 5-10 km, the wingspan is 1,6 meters.

somehow it’s all sewn with white thread
first, swaddle. Probably detect through the camera?
secondly, the search obviously goes from a height, and in order to ram, you need to go down and (I'm sure!) along a gentle path
    and this time and unmasking!
if the enemy does not consider the raven, he will easily defeat this drone from small arms or change the position of the target.
I wonder if you can catch this drone with a net? or in a maskset?

Naturally, a whole swarm of such drones will not be able to get there with a 1% guarantee, if the number 100 "Pantsir" with a working radar is on standby.
But the civilian object will amaze easily.
It is not clear why the Poles showed in this advertisement not a "military operation", but an obvious terrorist attack. Two militants in the greenery, a minibus was hit. Directly successful ISIS operation.

But what can a tank do in the middle of the field?

All that for which the tanks were created.
In addition to you, someone else (judging by the minuses) has tanks fighting in the forests, among the trees.

at a distance of 10 km (by the way, by the way, the main drawback in my opinion)? it may well look for the Gazelle, and work in manpower in the trenches.

Well, it is said - multifunctional with a replaceable warhead. So there may be a cumulative warhead.

the mass of the F-1 grenade, which, by the way, is already "100 years old at lunchtime" is 600 grams. The mass of a shot for an RPG is from 2 kg, and this is with a propellant charge, the shot which was supposed to penetrate the armor along a flat trajectory and not from a dive.

Ie, in your opinion, the Kalashnikov concern is suffering from nonsense while creating the Lancet kamikaze UAV? By the way, the Israeli kamikaze drone IAI Harop has repeatedly proved its effectiveness, so with its help in the spring of 2016, the Azerbaijani army destroyed a bus with Armenian volunteers who were traveling to the aid of the Artsakh army. On January 21, 2019, in Syria, a Skystriker drone-projectile belonging to the Tsakhal hit the Syrian Russian-made Pantsir C1 air defense system.

Russia seems to have become interested in Iranian kamikaze drones, most likely those that the American Patriot was destroyed in Yemen. But given the stories with our refusals to supply Iran with either S-300 or S-400, there are doubts about the approval of the deal by the Iranian side, even taking into account our dialogue with Israel and the potential opportunity to transfer the Iranian drones that we purchased to Israel or Western partners for study.
Speaking on the sidelines of the International Aviation and Space Salon in Russia (MAKS-2019), the Director of the Iranian Organization for Aviation Industry (AIO), Brigadier General Abdolkarim Banitarafi, said that Russia had offered to buy unmanned aircraft from Iran, Tasnim News reports.

Banitarafi also noted that the Russian application for the purchase of Iranian drones should be evaluated, and the necessary licenses should be obtained for export.

The flight speed is low. At this speed, a nematic strike for the tank will not be fatal. The drone will not inflict more or less serious damage to the tank at all.

Something is two completely contradictory statements in one material:
The drone is able to track the target for many hours, detecting, identifying and hitting it, and if the object cannot be detected, return to the base.

How many hours is it? And then it turns out that he walked 5-10 km?
The drone is launched from a special tube. The flight speed is 150 km / h, the flight range is 5-10 km, the wingspan is 1,6 meters.

As I understand it, 5-10 km is the range of the communication and control channel. The range of the drone transmitters.
He flies in circles. A circle with a radius of 5-10 km from the operator.

At the expense of the "promising direction" of unmanned aircraft (UAVs or "drones"). Ukraine wassat sold the Bukovel-AD to Morroco to combat the UAV. The news itself is "ordinary", but the point is that already in Ukraine wassat make means of countering "drones" (UAV). I believe that today even the "natives" are beginning to arm themselves with electronic warfare ... angry

But I wonder if it is possible from a technological point of view to make the attack of the drone as vertical as possible. So that in peak above the target and with maximum acceleration down.

I think how the operator learns, so it will be. ATGMs are also not the most convenient apparatus for piloting, but they learn how to open them in windows and under the tank tower. With manual visual piloting, I think there will be no problems here.

Well, the first ATGMs, "Baby" for example, also had developed aerodynamic planes. I think until the operator loses control, she will fire the rocket at its peak.

Now a complex of a controlled dart with a range of up to 5 km Felt-tip is being developed. I consider it necessary to introduce this sniper complex of guided weapons into each compartment, along with a machine gunner and grenade launchers. And it is necessary for the Felt-tip pen to control the sky, automatically detecting and warning about the approach of the UAV. It would be nice for him to contact the network and receive information about the type of UAV - "friend" or "alien". And could be used to destroy the drone.

After all, the video shows that this is a MTR. And say, upon detection, when a group is covered with a mortar, such a drone could well destroy it.
